you can in 1977 and 1980 tho
Just saw a Less Than Jake show. It was freaking amazing. I know they're ska, but some of their stuff is harder? Probably not notably hardcore though. Fun as hell nonetheless.

Everything up to Balboa Fun Zone is fucking brilliant imo, that demos record has got to be my favourite though cus of the 2 different versions of wrecking crew.
one of the best songs ever made imo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifq24lljbQM
also, have a song about necrophilia
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpZJLjrb4vU
Oh man Kids of the Black Hole is amazing. I've only ever heard their S/T, but it's gold.
The Gallows are probably the best hardcore punk act in the 21st century. Unfortunately never saw them live... yet.

And Wade and Frank are both awesome.
Does anyone know why Electric Six's second album, Senor Smoke, got such low reviews and everybody hated it?
Black Flag reunion tour
Awesome show, was awesome seeing them (mostly Greg Ginn) in such a small venue. Video doesn't do justice on the pit though.

again their studio works seems to hold them back. I like their "live 81/86" record WAYYYYYY more than any studio stuff. I'd be interested in hearing that demos record tho

just keep listening to "how could hell be any worse" or whatever. Also listen to "into the unknown" 2 or 3 times. "Time and Disregard" is super awesome imo

I think everyone agrees on that. Heard it from like 50 people that night. A great hardcore show is a great hardcore show though.
they're not punx sry
