Hence why I never trust water cooling to begin with. Just like in the video, one loose cable and BAM. Your computer is toast.
No, you're thinking Yahtzee. This is NerdCubed
Ah. I don't follow either of them much, my bad.
Sasha peed herself and died.
What a life.
That rig looks incredible, I don't quite get the 2 TB SDD part (sure its nice but uh.. Half the rig's expenses are up to that part)
Fuck really as well?
I had a cyberpower PC it only cost roughly $1500/£1100 about two years ago, my first real gaming rig I ever invested in, high specs around the clock but I also opted for watercooling. About a year and a half later it leaked, fried the power supply and everything but my harddrives.
Up until then I had just knocked it loose or was putting too much strain on it.
Fuck.
Just a friendly reminder to use fanless heatsinks. They may be expensive but if you want the quietness of liquid cooling but without the risk, use that.
Also why the fuck didn't they use non-conductive liquid? Also I would think that the BANG would be from the lack of cooling on the processor, not the actual liquid.

They are huge as [SUP][SUP][SUP]fuck[/SUP][/SUP][/SUP] and they don't use non-conductive liquid because that costs a lot more.
You could like, make an "Ultimate gaming PC" for like, $1500-$2000
water cooling is also like, something you need to have done in front of you and be EXTREMELY careful with.

I fit one into my PC [sp]but then again I have the extended ATX motherboard and a Thermaltake Level10[/sp]
Can someone explain why he needs 64GB of ram on a desktop computer?
Can someone explain why he needs 64GB of ram on a desktop computer?
only a dumbass would think that's a good idea
like, full blown retard... you never go full blown
And now its going to take forever for the company to respond and build a new one
Can someone explain why he needs 64GB of ram on a desktop computer?
its for "muh rendering"
They are huge as [SUP][SUP][SUP]fuck[/SUP][/SUP][/SUP] and they don't use non-conductive liquid because that costs a lot more.
Distilled water isn't that expensive, is it?
its for "muh rendering"
Sure even for rendering you would need MAX 16?
I render in 1080p all the time with my 8 GB RAM which still renders quite decent
Distilled water isn't that expensive, is it?
well you need additives in the water to keep the water from eating away at the water blocks and to stop algae growth, i guess those are conductive?

Liquid cooling isn't really quiet as the hot liquid needs to go through a radiator which is generally cooled by fans. The only quiet option is huge fanless heatsinks.

I use at most 56% of my RAM for 8 GB, at most you really need is 6-8.

He uses this to render lots and lots of videos, not just gaming.
YouTube is his job and it takes a lot of time to render 1080p videos, he's just trying to get some more freetime by rendering videos faster.
I use at most 56% of my RAM for 8 GB, at most you really need is 6-8.
I don't render much videos or the like, and I'm pretty sure that 64GB is overkill, but I'd imagine you could utilize a lot more than 8GB if you're rendering something big.
Hence my PC has a pressure control points which recognize a sudden drop of pressure and in the system and close 2 valves accordingly, it is not 100% safe but it will prevent any major damage and the system will be instantly powered off as well(custom construction, connected the pressure sensors output with an external power switch) :v:
In five years that computer will probably be something you can build for about $1000
Can someone explain why he needs 64GB of ram on a desktop computer?
He states that he does 4k resolution rendering in his first video which is pre intensive if you don't have a rendering based GPU ie a nvdia Quadro or an AMD Firepro based graphics card. So the 64gb helps cache the frames so they can easily be accessed by the CPU and GPU for rendering.

Didn't he also say he was doing some 4k rendering?
Edit:
Yeah what Hiruty said.

Yes but even 8GB is far more than enough
you can still do that with a 2000$ rig EASY
I use at most 56% of my RAM for 8 GB, at most you really need is 6-8.
Well I saw 16 GB of RAM for $50 on Amazon and bought it, so I guess it was worth it.
And I only had 4 GB of RAM at the time.
I have a 800 dollar Ibuypower comp (same thing as cyberpower).
Its liquid cooled. been running 2 years strong.
Idles at 14 C when my room is 16 C
My only issue with pre-built comps is the power supply.
My first Ibuypower had a PSU go out twice. The one i replaced it with wasn't up to snuff i guess. Went out 3 years later, taking down the motherboard with it. I said fuck it, got a new one. a year and a half later, the power supply blew up because it got damaged due to a power-surge. Not really Ibuypowers fault, as 1: I was putting a LOT of stress on my PSUs, and 2: was just bad luck with the power surge.
They're not the greatest PC's in the world, and they sometimes require work when things go wrong, but for the money, you get quite a bang for your buck.
I may build my next comp, it would take more time, and be slightly SLIGHTLY cheaper.
And that's why water cooling is a shit idea and why submerging your computer in nonconductive liquids is a much better idea if you're going to build a rig with the power to burn a house down.
Now try moving your new computer without breaking or spilling shit everywhere
Distilled water isn't that expensive, is it?
Distilled water if spilled onto a computer will be worse than a mineral water for the same reason we don't drink ultra pure water
