looks like it could work, much closer in my price range at the moment too
looking at the Patagonia jackets though, I may get one at a later date

My buddy claims "Holds off drizzle and works great at about ~50 degrees, doesn't hold up great to a downpoor or cold weather though". Also busted the zipper and had it replaced.
looks like it could work then, especially considering I probably won't be wearing it in rain anyway
kwa does have great internals, but M4's are boring bro.
however, if it's a battle of aesthetics or performance, then performance will have to be the victor.
Though it really isn't meant for freezing cold weather or downpoors as its not really a "hardshell".
What's a good MP5K? I need a small PDW type weapon for CQB, my M11 just isn't cutting it.
aye

The thing about airsoft is that as long as the externals are good, the internals can almost always be tweaked to be as good as your competition.
I can almost outshoot a KWA with my Real Sword, and all I have is a upgraded hopup and slight spring upgrade. They only top me ROF wise.
IMO RS externals beat the hell out of KWAs.

I would normally recommend the M11 lol :v:
What problems do you have with it?
The main problem is its accuracy, also the $40 50 round mags are an issue. Don't get me wrong, I love that gun, but I need something a bit more.
[editline]16th November 2010[/editline]
Or should I just get one of those ICS M4 pistols

I would, but the price would be the main problem there.

Trust me, the M11s are wayyy more accurate than an MP5K. And why do you need accuracy, its a CQB weapon right?

Loved the hell out of mine when I owned it. The guy I traded it to hasnt even opened it up and it still runs like a champ 2 years later. It can even run a 9.6 nunchuck and get a really nice ROF.

Plus it was small enough to fit in a Hot Pocket box at a roleplay game and I snuck it into a guarded building and killed all of the occupants :smug:
It's tempting. Very tempting. Plus I have shitloads of M4 mags laying around.

If you can find one in stock I would go for it. I didnt even think they were still in production TBH.
It's in stock on GI.

130 db. I highly doubt the GSG-1 makes 120.
[editline]16th November 2010[/editline]
Nevermind on my comment (120 still seems like a massive overstatement), your call. I saw a video review on it a while ago and it didn't seem too loud. Re-reading reviews now that mostly say it's loud enough indoors to create the flinching reaction, and you say you're going to play CQB a lot. Thunder Bs are actually too loud to use comfortably in closed rooms IMO.
thats because the video cant possibly hope to capture all sound frequencies and ranges.

I've forgotten the name of the lipo smart charger, so it's not on there.
Any major gripes about what's on here?
still needing help here :v:
Shitty vest.
It's fine except the Crossdraw. Yes, I'm aware that I was about to buy one too, until I actually tried one on. Safe to say I do not want a Crossdraw anymore. Also I'm not sure about how well that battery will fit into the gun.
[editline]16th November 2010[/editline]
Ninja'd
I don't recommend Lipo's myself. They're more trouble then they're worth, strain your internals and overall lower the life of your gun. They also have the unwanted tendency of exploding if overcharged.
Other people will tell you differently. Also, an alternative to a Crossdraw is a Seven-Pocket Chestrig. Only $20, lighter and infinitely more practical.
Also if you plan on going out in a t-shirt, jeans, and a vest and gun you need to be shot. Unless you get a US Marshals patch, then it's fine.
[editline]16th November 2010[/editline]
And yeah, the OE tech chest rig is awesome. Lipos I have no experience with but the KWA 2GX guns were designed for lipos.
I don't have problem with people who go out in jeans and T-shirts. We all start somewhere.
The reusable one is really good... How many db do the thunders make?
How many times do I have to say this.
THE MADBULL GRENADES ARE NOT EFFECTIVE FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN BOOBY TRAPS.
The Thunder Bs are a million billion times better.
It's really only a problem for me if they're also jean SHORTS.
I'm still debating with myself if I should get a Thunber-B or a Tornado. I may buy Nivek's from him, but I'll have to play around with it first.

It's DESIGNED for lipos. and if I get a balance charger, what could possibly go wrong? *shitstorm*

If it's you. Then I'd say, hmm, a lot.

Only 11.1v Lipos do that. 7.2vs wont put any more strain on your gun than a 9.6v NIMH or NICD battery.

Smart chargers. Period.
Get yo facts straight foo. I dont even use Lipos and I know this shit.

No really.

Oops I just rated timebomb disagree by accident.
I've used lipos for over a year with no problems. Hell I used some cheap piece of shit chinese balancer and never had it overcharge. All the balancers I know of have an auto shut off when charged. Anyways, after a lipo gets near it's peak charge it charges very slowly, so I'd really doubt it would overcharge unless you had a stupid charger that doesn't shut off in a day.
I used to think 11.1v lipos would kill any gun. Now I use them in every gun, haven't had a single broken part yet.
I had a funny thought, what if you shot BBs through a straw? I think it'd be better than some of those Wal-Mart guns, I remember hearing something about it before. A peashooter? I don't remember much.
I'd much rather shoot them through regular airsoft guns thank you.
Think of the humiliation that would ensue if you took out someone with a blow-gun/straw though.
