Personally I'd go with the WE G36. Lightweight and is amazing for the price, plus you can always change the length of it later on.

Well, I ordered the SR10. I came to the conclusion that I want a more long range oriented, DMR style AEG. They're both similar anyways, and the SR10 will be more unique on the field, everyone has the plain jane M4.
I'd personally go for the SR10, as you said, it's more unique and I can't stand fixed stocks. Good choice IMO.

Their overkill for airsoft. Anything about a 2X is getting way too high, because your bbs can't even go that far. Unless you have an odd vision impairment I don't think you would need one, and if you do, I salute you for not letting it get in the way of your hobby. If you want something to assist in aiming, get a red dot or holosight, or anything along those lines.

Scopes are good for seeing people over long distances, and watching enemy movement which is what snipers are primarily used for. So I'd say they're useful.
I use a 4x ACOG for spotting and shooting. Lets me see them before they see me, or if there's only a small part of them showing I can check to make sure it is a person before I shoot. Also helps when you don't know what team they're on. I also use a scope on my SR25, lets me see how my bbs are flying midflight so I can compensate and get the next rounds on target. Hard to do that with just irons or a red dot.
I'm probably just going to have a red dot on my M14.

Maybe, maybe not. I'd assume they slipped through Customs because it's the holiday seasons, and packages are coming in by the fuckton. It is possible that with the volume of packages coming though, Customs missed it. That or they don't care about airsoft guns and went "Fuck it".
