The Dboys AKs are about the same internally as CYMA AKs, its the externals that are worlds better on the Dboys. [editline]3rd December 2010[/editline] Echo one also isnt bad, but they shoot hot.
[img_thumb]http://www.horsefish.net/airsoft/images/gasgun-a-6.jpg[/img_thumb] Anyone know how to remove the outer barrel from the hop-up assembly?
Did your P226 come with a manual? Generally, they have exploded diagrams on the back, check to see if theres anything that is keeping it there.
What is the difference between this SIG 226? http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=5738 And this SIG 226? http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=366_610&products_id=4538 AEX one comes with a carrying case and is much cheaper, but I don't know, something isn't right here.
Help? Need an answer soon, this is my Christmas present so it needs to be ordered relatively early.
With a few upgrades (costing less then $240) a Combat Machine M16 could easily outmatch that choice.
what upgrades 0.0! i want moar info ;)
The Dboys AKs are about the same internally as CYMA AKs, its the externals that are worlds better on the Dboys.
Interesting.
Echo one also isnt bad, but they shoot hot.
I've heard some bad things about their AKs, though it might've been only one or two models. Please tell me they're not that bad?
Help? Need an answer soon, this is my Christmas present so it needs to be ordered relatively early.
I can't see a damned thing besides website reliability, TBH.
Did your P226 come with a manual? Generally, they have exploded diagrams on the back, check to see if theres anything that is keeping it there.
That's a good idea, I'll check dat. thanks doty
haha doty lol kevin doty btw foos your brothers a fukker
Help? Need an answer soon, this is my Christmas present so it needs to be ordered relatively early.
For a third time I realized they are both made by KJW. I can only imagine the one on AEX is a 'second hand' cheaper version, BUT YOU GET A COOL CASE MAN. (IE left in their back closet for a year or two and tossed around on the weekends)

I've recently taken in interest in airsoft, so I've decided to browse a few sites for Christmas. I've found this one, read the reviews, and I'm pretty sure I want it. Should I get it, or is there something better for a beginner? http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=154_155&products_id=4462 and
A good choice my fri-faggot

Gives you everything you need to get started. Although I bet you everyone else is going to tell you to get an AK.
Thanks. I was planning on getting a cheaper AK, but I'm just gonna go with the MK5.
It's a good gun for a beginner. Gives you everything you need to get started. Although I bet you everyone else is going to tell you to get an AK.
I'd suggest a Combat Machine in it's place, actually. $40 cheaper.
I'd suggest a Combat Machine in it's place, actually. $40 cheaper.
But you would still need to toss in a battery and charger, so it's pretty much the same price.
I like tri-shots. It's a good gun.
So, I just bought a slightly broken TM M14 for $150. Are parts readily available for it, and what upgrades should I get for it?
What do you guys think? I want to get a Milspec Monkey Combat Admin Pouch to mount on the front of my LBE that you've all seen me wearing. I don't know if I want the Velcro Combat Pouch http://milspecmonkey.com/store/products/details/130/20/tactical-gear/pouches-/-panels/monkey-combat-admin-pouch.html Or the Stealth Admin Pouch http://milspecmonkey.com/store/products/details/584/20/tactical-gear/pouches-/-panels/msm-stealth-util-/-admin.html I'm leaning heavily toward stealth but I'm not sure if it's too big for my vest or if it'll look odd.
Northern Kentucky here.

But both look like they hold the same amount of junk, and I do like the looks of the first one. Hard choice.
I think I decided on the Stealth too. The velcro one is really loud and far too strong for my needs and I believe it has less cargo space. The Stealth has zippers, front pouch folds down, removable foldable map pouch, loops and molle on the sides and all over the innards, velcro on the outside and I just generally think it's much more practical for what I need it for. Maybe I'll order the velcro one sooner or later for my CIRAS.
Okay, dad's not willing to go above $100 on an airsoft gun for my brother, I'm chipping in $30, so that gives us a budget of $130. Price wise, CYMA AMG and ECHO1 keep poping up, and those are the only brands worth mentioning. My (younger) brother said he likes AK-47's, Combat Shotguns (so semi-auto; gas powered?), and of course sniper rifles. tl;dr: suggest an airsoft gun for $130.
This but it's not in stock right now. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_211&products_id=3310
If you manage to get about ten more dollars, there's the DBoys/KALASH RK-03, and you can get it for $140 at AirsoftMegastore or $170 at AirsoftGI. From my experiences with both websites, I haven't had any troubles with either of them, although some people may have a few things to say about ASMS. I wonder why they seem to price it so high on GI though. http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/KALASH_DBOYS_AK74_S_Metal_Gearbox_AEG_p/rk-03-wood.htm compared to http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3026 You can definitely go for Taepodong's suggestion too, I guess it's just up to preference.
I wonder why they seem to price it so high on GI though.
ASGI knows that they're the most trusted website and are willing to charge you for that extra bit of security, which I feel they're fully entitled to do. EDIT: Get your brother this gun - http://www.airsplat.com/Items/EL-BI-M4-9081-D.htm
Hey guys, around some time next year I'll be getting a decent amount of money (£300 to be exact) for a good Airsoft loadout, it has to be two-tone (UK Law, of course) so I was wondering if the Cyma CM030 EAP would be a good sidearm with 2 extra magazines. For my main gun I'm thinking about the G&G MP5A4, it's got a decent 330 FPS which is good for what I'll be using it for. (CQB) Additionally, I'll be getting a Viper tactical leg holster, a full face shield and 5000 king arms platinum series BB's. I'm a keen Airsofter but I've only bought 3 guns before, all of which were rather useless to me as they were cheap, broke easily and had a very low FPS and range. I guess that's what I get for buying crappy springers for £30. Anyway, your opinions would be pretty helpful.

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=7285 I know it's not an AK, a shotty, or a sniper rifle (which I'd tell him to avoid anyways).
Any AEP is going to have pretty poor performance. G&G is an excellent brand, go with that, lose the holster, those BBs should be fine, and the full face shield is the most uncomfortable thing you can possibly wear, I've tried those before and they suck.
