There is an extra cell or something on Cranestock batteries. I honestly don't know a lot about batteries or internals.
Oh, that's right. I have one of those that came with my JG.
Some crane stocks take the larger cell batteries, resulting in a mAh up to or over 4000mAh. Not sure if the KWA takes these or not though.
Can someone like, give me a run-down of everything I need to know about GBBR's? Regarding maintenance, reliability, differences to electric systems, magazines, that kind of thing. My mammy might be getting me a WE KAC PDW for my B-day present, so I need to know shit about it.
Well, before I charge into buying a $400 gun I'm going to try get my CM up to speed. I'm going to clean the barrel, use .25's and adjust the hop-up. Worst case I can install a Madbull tightbore I have. Any other recommendations to increase Accuracy and Range? Replacement parts are near impossible to find or really expensive.
And you need to lube it frequently.
I know absolutely nothing about GBBRs, sorry. But these guys do: http://www.blowbackarmory.net/ [editline]5th December 2010[/editline] Can someone recommend me some good AK-47 midcaps? I'm seriously considering that SRC Beta.

It can be quite hands on for maintenance, especially if you mags start leaking. Also if you're playing in 60F degree weather or lower they won't work that well, and CO2 mags only wear down the gun faster. And lastly it's a true money pit. Here's a guide put together by one of the guys from Blowback Armory. http://www.bayareaairsoft.org/forum/index.php/topic,10033.0.html

Although from reading that FAQ, the maintenance sounds relatively simple. I am concerned about the lubing, however. The mags seem to be hard to come by as well, and pretty expensive. The only problem is, I'm just not sure if I can resist the charm of the WE PDW..

Ive heard of mod parts to lower the FPS, you may want to consider those.
Okay, Cranestock it is. Any idea what the largest battery I can fit into that stock without it being a Lipo? Thanks for all the advice thus far.
Honestly you would be better off with the full stock. It's not shit, and the battery space can hold an obese pregnant lady.

Shit, how hard would that be to install? [editline]asd[/editline] Also want to double check, the PDW is compatible with the standard M4/M16 GBB mags, right?

Second sentence has a mistake in it.... What a first impression.
Second sentence has a mistake in it.... What a first impression.
Seriously?
Not bad for the money.
There's an error in this sentence?
Honestly you would be better off with the full stock. It's not shit, and the battery space can hold an obese pregnant lady.
But the Sling attachment options and adjustable positions make it tempting. I haven't had to charge my battery for my CM on the field yet, even during the all night field game. So I figure I'll just buy an extra battery to equal it out. To me right now it's more about what I'll be happy with in the long run.
There's an error in this sentence?
I think he's referring to "COMMING" in the OP.
Oh. I hadn't even noticed that. Still doesn't explain bitching about an entire forum. :colbert:
I can use WD-40 instead of Silicon right? I mean, they use it for real guns so why not Airsoft?
I've got the AGM HK416, and I'm wanting to replace the front handguard with something like the noveske free float handguard: http://www.madbullairsoft.com/English/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22_24&products_id=173 or any reasonable M4 rail system. But will this fit on my HK416? and even if it would, HK handguard is fitted by a single bolt attaching to the bottom of the outer barrel, so how would iI attach it? I'm extremely new to gun modifications so help would be greatly appreciated
Well I think I'm ready to take the leap. I'm probably going to order a KWA SR-10 tonight. Anyone want to comment? Will I regret it? (Doubt it) Is there anything better short of a Systema? Will it out preform my Combat Machine in Accuracy/Range/General Performance? Anything beyond?
I can use WD-40 instead of Silicon right? I mean, they use it for real guns so why not Airsoft?
I thought I heard somewhere that using WD-40 in your gun would royally fuck it up.
I thought I heard somewhere that using WD-40 in your gun would royally fuck it up.
It get really, really mixed answers. Some people swear by it, others say it will fuck you up good and I hear that after it drys it attracts dust and other shit which becomes a pain in the ass to clean.

Go to Home Depot, and get a huge bottle of silicone oil for $5. I'd rather play it safe, then take a chance with mixed reviews.
Code, just use sillicon oil is what I hear from a ton of people.
I would, but I have no idea where it went too. I was just putting the WD40 out there to see if I could, but I can't.

I could get a SAW, but I have a feeling I'd get tired of that real quick. Too heavy and it sucks up ammo like it's going out of style. I'm not sure what kind of range I can get out of an Echo 1 SAW. It's all about range and accuracy to me right now, because I find I can't hit shit 50 feet away and anything beyond that I have to spray and pray something hits. I just have to upgrade to a heavier ammo with a KWA and hope my mags are compatible.
