Your best bet would be to try ARES and see if they sold them.
Your best bet would be to try ARES and see if they sold them.
No the Ares MARS sight sucks dick.
I know. But that's the only place that makes them.
Okay, got my complete (Stargate Atlantis) Loadout figured out, please comment and so forth. Really the only not listed are pants and a shirt, lol.
Wow. $160 for shoes? I got my waterproof ones for like $40, bro. I understand that you're trying to get an accurate loadout, but I'm sure there are cheaper, just as accurate shoes out there. A hundred and sixty dollars. For shoes.
You pay for quality, don't forget that. When it comes to shoes/boots you don't want to skimp out on quality.
A hundred and sixty dollars. For shoes.
Is a reasonable price for good shit. [editline]11th December 2010[/editline] Also, why do you want Thunder-Bs AND a Tornado grenade?
Also, why are you buying a very nice gun and optics that are absolute shit?
I don't know why people say that. Why would you buy an Optic worth as much or more then the gun? Airsoft guns aren't that accurate, you don't need them in my opinion, they make things a bit easier and look nice but in that case Chinese knock-offs are the best way to go.

It's Commie to not spend money and support Capitalism. But you're buying from Commies.. [editline]10th December 2010[/editline] Anyone have experience with the ACM M500 Shotgun?
Hmm, $60 Eotech clone or $500 for a real Eotech. I think I'm going to stick with the clone. Don't even get me started with ACOG's.
I'm getting a RS Kobra cause the clone sucks apparently.
Where can you find $60 EO Tech clones? I can't even find any below $100. I'm going to buy a $35 Clone ACOG soonish.
You pay for quality, don't forget that. When it comes to shoes/boots you don't want to skimp out on quality.
I use $20 repro jungle boots. What exactly are the hazards? Just over long periods of time damage to feet/posture? Because they're perfectly comfortable (as far as little to no padding boots go).
I use free Vietnam jungle boots that I got from my uncle. They're awesome.

NCStar is kinda crap. Get a G&P or Bravor or some other company that makes decent repros.
I use 20 dollar jungle boots and a bunch of other cheap gear, such as the junk in my old~ thread: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1031757-Deathmog-s-Reviews-of-Cheap-Tactical-Gear-(56k-warning)
Ive got $70 Rothco steel toe paratrooper boots. They are the most expensive peice of gear I have excluding guns. I love them <3
Wall-O-Text
Wow. $160 for shoes?
Got the pair that I have now for $20, but will they stand up as well as Patagonia? No. Again, this is just what I want, not saying I'll be getting it. Your feet are very important, you'll learn that eventually, if you haven't already.
Also, why do you want Thunder-Bs AND a Tornado grenade?
Don't need either. But why wouldn't I want them both? Although, in the grand scheme of things, I see what you mean. Hrm... Go with Tornado?
Also, why are you buying a very nice gun and optics that are absolute shit?
At the time I thought they were nice, any other suggestion that wont cause me to sell my kidney?
What exactly are the hazards?
Oh God, so lucky my dad didn't see this post. He would've gone ape shit. (He's one of the head safety guys for toyota) Basically, you're looking at overall protection and durability. But also accounted into this are ergonomics and such. You have ankle and arch support, waterproof (water in shoes is bad kids, your feet will start to deteriorate and that's not good.), can breath well enough, toe 'shielding' (this is mainly where the ANSI ratings come in, so you're certified against toe squishing), the materials it's made out of, ect. In addition to the pricing you also need to be aware of the company, certificates and ratings, level of certification, expected life, materials, where it's made, ect. tl;dr: How dare you ask, just protect your feet and change your socks often. If I'm spending +$200 on a sports gun that'll only be used for such a purpose, I'm going to invest in my investment to make sure I'll be able to play and, in addition, have something that's of use to me outside of airsoft. That's why I'm willing to spend $160 on boots. Not as bad as the jacket I wanted from them, which would run me +$170. So, anyway, I'll start editing my loadout based on your guys' comments and hopefully I can get something ironed out; should I even bother working on the loadout I'd use with the Mk16?
I hear mixed things about Tornado grenades, I just ordered Thunder-B's and they're pretty economical but I only know one place that sells them.
Hey, I'm usually a proprietor of getting a Red Ryder for plinking with cans but it's winter so I want to stay indoors. Are there any small (not a full size shotgun) springers which don't hurt your hand after extended use (ie lever action or something) for like 100bux? Thanks
This is the Airsoft forum, not the BB/Pellet Rifle forum. We can't help you with that, unfortunately. [editline]11th December 2010[/editline] Thank you for using the Question thread though, normally people don't.
I meant that I usually like pellet guns because they're cheap and proven but I want an indoor plinking spring airsoft gun for fun, sorry if I wasn't clear
I'd suggest a tri shot shotgun, from DE or whoever makes it.
Tri-Shots are pretty neat and cheap ($60~), but for what you want to do, any gun will work basically.
Alright, thanks for the recommendations, that shotgun seems to fit the best
Not a problem, maybe you'll get into airsoft a lot like the rest of us, either way, we still welcome you.
whalecum to the forums comrade
