Nay. Heard bad things about them, from crappy stitching to pouches being placed in inconvenient places.
It would be perfect for a Israeli Defense Force loadout though, especially for that price. Even if it was terrible, twenty bucks is okay for a few uses.

Damn. Looked pretty good for the price. I think I should invest in a CIRAS.

Please do not buy that one. Every single pouch on there is sewn into the vest. You won't be able to customize it at all. It tries to copy the look of a Maritime CIRAS, but does a very bad job at it. The adjustments aren't true to the real CIRAS either, as they should be internal. Plus the color is way off and just doesn't look good. I've seen kids use these in person and it looks awful, you should have heard what my teammates say about them.
The cheapest CIRAS I could recommend is this one. My friend just bought one and he loves it.

Ah. Glad I did not order it then.
And I was looking at that vest! Just wasn't sure if it was worth the $109.
On a side note, my new gloves got shipped today, so I should expect those in the mail in the next few days. Woohoo.
I just contacted flecktarn.co.uk since their CIRAS has been out of stock for a while now, and I got this:
[quote]Dear Ryan
I'm sorry, the CIRAS is being superseded by a new vest which is a non-releasable MOLLE armour carrier with largely the same features as the CIRAS, but has an upgraded design.
The new vest and further details are expected to be available by the end of July.[/quote]
I'm definitely excited to see the new design. Slightly saddened by the fact that it's non-releasable, but I'm still looking forward to it.
[QUOTE=xXEnder007Xx;23134488]-Serpa Holster w/ P226[/QUOTE]
Holster with added P226.
How is Redwolf Airsoft? I'm a bit nervous about ordering anything out of country as I'm fearful of Customs taking my package. Additionally, there is no phone number to contact them, only an electronic form.
[editline]04:11AM[/editline]
Also, I'm not holding my breath that my Tavor will come. It's my first choice, beautiful, practical and elegant but I may not be able to get it.
These are my other options, the Tanaka being the first in the running and from then on most want to least want.
Tanaka M870 Shotgun Marine Magnum.
[img_thumb]http://img.redwolfairsoft.com/upload/product/img/TNK-M870EC-BK-L.jpg[/img_thumb]
That is not the Marine Magnum, but it's the same gun for all intent and purposes only with a black finish rather then chrome. The chrome isn't all that great, I'd prefer black but the only place that sells the Tanaka M870 I want is redwolf (cheaper then my Tavor too) and they only have chrome. My searches are fruitless elsewhere. I'd get a shell catch for my shells, this is a fun play around possible CQB weapon.
The G&G GR-300 (Long or Short, not sure which I want. Most likely long.)
[img_thumb]http://www.airsoftgi.com/images/pic-003-gg-gr300-shrt-A.jpg[/img_thumb]
A&K sells one too but I wouldn't trust it. G&G make decent guns from my understanding. This thing is like an M4 but not, so I won't have too much trouble with repairs and tune-up as well as being able to find abundant replacement part and upgrades.
The G&G Combat Machine
[img_thumb]http://www.airsoftgi.com/images/airsoft_GG_combatMachine_m4_A.jpg[/img_thumb]
Same as above, only more generic. Alittle cheaper with a neat blow-back function that I could take or leave. Not a fan of the stock, I'd probably buy a full stock to replace it with, although that may require me to open it up and re-wire it and that's always a bitch. Alternately, the option for a GR-16 A3 is there too, it costs more, has no blowback but it is full metal and include a full stock. (Pictured below)
[img_thumb]http://www.airsoftgi.com/images/airsoft_GG_GR16A3_A.jpg[/img_thumb]
Echo 1 M249
[img_thumb]http://www.airsoftgi.com/images/airsoft_E1_mk2_M249_A.jpg[/img_thumb]
Basically like the Tanaka, only slightly more practical. I always had this fascination with this gun, but I never got it because A. They were too expensive at the time and B. It's not all that fun to lug around a SAW. Even so it's a neat gun, you can feel like a bad ass and it's playable, the only problem is I would want to be on a squad as using this thing in a free for all game would fuck me up.
[editline]04:15AM[/editline]
Or my TAR 21 comes and I'm thrilled. Either way I have to cover my bases. I want to go to the prom with a different dress then usual, so those M4's only have function going for them in this running and appreciation.

This the first time you shopped with that site? I'm curious as to how good they're.

I got the gloves from Weapon Blender. But I've heard things about EBairsoft. Minor things like shipping time are what people complain about. They don't realize it takes a couple weeks to get from Hong Kong to America. But hey, at least it's free.
And Redwolf Airsoft is a very good site.
Okay, thanks for clearing up the Redwolf thing. Tell me how it works out with Weapon blender.
[QUOTE=CodeMonkey3;23146766]Okay, thanks for clearing up the Redwolf thing. Tell me how it works out with Weapon blender.[/QUOTE]
It's weird what Weapon Blender does. They only ship out on weekdays, and they charge a flat rate of $4.75 for shipping and handling. Now, with said, they say that depending on the size or quantity of what you ship, determines who it's shipped by (UPS or USPS). So when I ordered on Friday, it didn't go out till yesterday (Monday). I know it was a holiday weekend, so I understood why it took long.

To add to my growing pile of inquiries, does anyone know if it's possible to buy a upper receiver for a P90 with the red-dot on it? I've been looking but haven't seen one.
[editline]05:13AM[/editline]
Automerge broken.
All you have to worry about now is that they sent the right thing as you ordered it. Not to worry you though, I'm always pessimistic about my orders.

Try this: [url]http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Accessories_Metal_Bodies_Related_Parts_AEG_G_P_P90_Metal_Receiver.htm[/url]
And I don't think Weapon Blender could really screw up an order this simple. Now Evike on the other hand.....
I've seen those, but I don't know where to get a proper Red-Dot to go into it. I've always had this thing since I got my P90 telling me I made a mistake getting rails, just morbidly curious if I could get a new upper receiver with the red-dot or the red-dot that would fit into the one you linked.
Identity do you have an opinion on a secondary option in the likely event I don't get my Tavor?
I can't really tell are these Profile type goggles? Would they work for airsoft, if I get a ess cortex clip for them would it work on them??
[url]http://weaponblender.com/index.php?productID=1804[/url]
All I know is that yes, they will work for airsoft. Granted, the lenses scratch up pretty easily and it's a tight fit with glasses but they're good goggles all the same.
Well thats good I get to knock about 70-80 dollars off for a pair of goggles I kinda hate it that they're tan but the cortex clip looks like it would cover most of it up.
[editline]03:14PM[/editline]
btw is weaponblender a good safe site?

My secondary? Hmm. Well you have the Combat Machine listed.
Now, I also like the SAW, but seeing how we wear the same gear and all, I'm going to say you should pass. It's an awesome gun, but lugging that around, with as much gear and heat, would more than likely make you miserable.
Back to the G&G. I have the customized version (as most of you know) and Ender has it as well, and my opinion of it fits pretty well pertaining to what our guns have in common. They are solid, lightweight, but with the same feeling as holding a full metal.
Also, have you thought about buying an M14 EBR? Would be great for a Army Marksmen loadout. Just a suggestion.
So with that said, from what you have listed, I'd go with the G&G. Can be dropped from eight or nine feet with no damage, durable, reliable, great for customization, etc.
Actually thinking of it now, see if you can pick up a G4 Custom. Those are upgraded G&G's for an awesome price.

Yes, Weapon Blender is safe. Just ordered from them a couple days ago. Great prices too.
The SAW would go with the loadout, but you're right heavy. G&G combat machine would be the safe bet, and the GR-300 would be the unique one to go for.
All around I want to wait for more feedback. I really have my heart set on that shotgun. It's one of those "It looks so cool but I'll never use it" things. Like buying a convertible in Alaska.
Kinda like this? Something you'd want but probably wouldn't use:
[img]http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/5e06319eda06f020e43594a9c230972d/s/n/snow-snp-sw01a_3_mark.jpg[/img]
Out of stock by the way.
That thing is ugly as hell and dumb.
I -could- use the shotgun. I can get a Shell Catch from a Sporting Good store so I don't lose shells and make it practical. The only problem is that I don't play Indoor games so I don't have any reach with my gas-powered shells. It's just a fun, play around, knock around, badass thing.
The G&G's and Echo 1 are alot more practical but those aren't guns you really want when you're going through your Airsoft Mid-life crisis like I am.

CodeMonkey, i will tell you this much.
Whatever makes you happy is what you should go with, because in the end that is all that really matters.

I know it sucks man.
[img]http://www.lynnenglishalumni.org/Soldier_Hug.jpg[/img]
Hug?
Sooner or later they'll come in. If I were you I'd wait. If you have a gun that functions for now, then I'd just wait till you hear the call that they're back. I know that's highly unrealistic, but hey, you never know.
That's true. That's a very true statement. Especially since I still regret (and continue to bitch about) getting rails on my P90 purely because most people told me it was better.
[editline]05:46PM[/editline]
As for the Tavor, I called ASGI and they said to wait a month for an ETA but this order is time sensitive. IE: I can't wait more then a month, I've already wasted alot of time chasing rabbits down the rabbit hole.
We pretty much said that the MAGPUL PTS 30rd Green Label PMAG would fit for my M4, right? Because I just found some for a decent price.
Okay, can someone clear up if these are gas? I'm sure they're but in the off chance;
[url]http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/magazines/shell-cartridge-type/shotgun-shells/maruzen-m870-m1100-shotgun-shells-5-pack-blue.html[/url]
I'm probably going to get the shotgun because I have an M15 that is perfectly fine and with a few upgrades it could be shooting better then it did when I first got it.
Codemonkey, get a AK. It's the right thing to do.
I dislike AK's I think they're boring and ugly.
[editline]06:01PM[/editline]
I also consider it this way;
The shotgun is $500 with shells, almost $600 with express delivery (I'm not going to wait a month to get this from Hong Kong, I'd die from nervous shock)
The G&G CM, A&K G300 are both under $300 so they're attainable if I were to save my money or the faithful day when I get a job.
I can order upgrade parts sometime in the near future for a pretty decent price on my M15.
The only thing I'm concerned about is customs seizing my gun.
Get an M14 with real wood and make it a DMR. Then I will have to hunt you down and steal it.
Get something different and exciting like a Sten :buddy:
I'm not even sure if they make those.
