maybe i read wrong, but i thought they only fit G&G M14's. maybe I'm mistaken.
Would there be way to make those mags feed, though? I'd rather not drive all the way back to the store.
ya nvm i got mixed up with CA mags not KA, sorry. check this thread out, some useful stuff here http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/Problem-King-Arms-M14-Mi-t70870.html&p=17331398
I'll try sanding the retaining tab down a little bit, thanks.
I was looking around on the internet and I can't seem to figure out if their were mag handles used in Nam for my gear set. Basically to make it easier to pull mags out of a pouch without fumbling or can't grasp the mag do to it being plastic.
Are you thinking of something like a magpul? I'm not sure about Nam, but i'll do some reasearch on ones they used in nam or something
make your own nerd [editline]14th December 2010[/editline] shoestring + tape
So, just got a five pack of KA M14 Midcaps, and two out of the five mags refuse to feed in my TM M14. Anything I can do to make them work?
Well I know what I'm not buying for my CYMA...
make your own nerd [editline]14th December 2010[/editline] shoestring + tape
Don't jump to conclusions if I want to be historically accurate with my load-out. Even tho I'm using a Scar, It's All part of a Back story.

Even tho I'm using a Scar, It's All part of a Back story.
um the gun is a bigger deal then magpuls. And I would assume some soldiers used the method I said, since they probably just used what was at hand.
Aside from looking pretty, how well do Dboys perform?
Specific model pls

I've seen soldier do it all the time, hell I even did it a few times before I invested in magpuls.
I've wondered how well the KALASH RK-03 does as well.
Specific model pls
The AK's I guess, I don't really know -which- one, just kind of considering a Dboy AK now that I've tabled the shotgun idea.
Make one out of legos. Profit.
I own a Dboys AK and it's pretty awesome. The only thing that I could think of that's bad is that the tolerances aren't that tight. I'm missing a pin or two from various parts that I will have to go and buy (there's a real steel replacement I found that should fit). Besides that though, they're great. My little 74u has awesome range and accuracy. I've owned it for a year now, and the hop-up rubber needs replacing but besides that it's doing fine. Also, I thought you didn't like commie guns codemonkey?
All of the Kalash models get nothing but praise as far as externals, I've read some have slight issues with internals. Nothing that can't be fixed.
Yeah, externally, these things are great. All steel and wood.
Also, I thought you didn't like commie guns codemonkey?
I don't, but I have a bunch of AK hicaps laying around and I'd like a STALKER/Post Apocalyptic RP loadout. I also think having an AK with real wood would be cool when I feel like throwing on a chest rig and not giving a shit. Also; loaner gun. I like variety. AK, M4, SR-10, TAR 21 sounds like a nice variety to me that basically leaves me options, especially for different loadouts and combat environments. Looking at this one; http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_211&products_id=3026 Same price as the shotgun, a lot more practical. I can actually use it. If I got a shotgun I could only really use it in CQB and since our killhouse is so small I'd fuck someone up.
:v: We should really get a video of Nivek firing his gun, I think it sounds fucking hilarious
Looking at this one; http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_211&products_id=3026
Do it. It's sexy as fuck. [editline]14th December 2010[/editline] just.... dont get rails on it.
Listen, I may not like your Godless Communist Contraptions but I'm not going to ruin an AK with rails and foregrips and stupid shit. The most I'd do is get a Kobra clamp if the thing ever grew on me.
that makes me happy.
I might be picking up an AK again, but you guys won't like what I'll do to it. I'm debating on what model to pick up. Definitely looking at a 74 model with wood furniture, but I'm stuck on deciding to go with a full stock or side folding stock. I'll end up getting a CYMA or DBoys, just not sure which. I've owned both before so I know what to expect.

I would make it completely tacticool, but I'd definitely place parts on it, that are "less favored" on here.
The only way you would get me to put non Russian anything on an AK is if I had an RK95 just because the Finnish army uses ACOGs and Aimpoints on them in real life.
Looking at this now. Same as the E1 AK. http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_486&products_id=32091
