It's going to start as my base gun. From there I can buy accessories and other parts as I please (and can afford) and mix and match till I find something I like.

First thing on my list of accessories is a new bolt. I hate those thin little bolts, going to toss in a full ICS bolt. Had one on my old AK and it sounded so nice.

Next part may be a Romanian grip. That or an RIS, or a mix of both. Not decided yet but eventually I'll probably have a collection of parts, just like how I have a dozen different M4 parts.

I could care less about the hated part, I'll use what works. If it means me taking the other guy down that fraction of a second faster because I have a red dot mounted to the top handguard, then I'll do it.

I like variety. AK, M4, SR-10, TAR 21 sounds like a nice variety to me that basically leaves me options, especially for different loadouts and combat environments.

I'm also trying to decide between wood stock and folding. I heard you can't fold the stock if you get a kobra. But then I like that idea of wrapping the folding stock with para cord.

You can buy them for $12 all of the place, like Ebay. You just have to drill the hole yourself for the screw unless you have the skull-crusher strap. If you want that new "NVG TACTICOL PLATE" that comes on the MICH 2001/2002 a lot of the time, I couldn't help you there.

Do you have a NVG for the mount?

No, at least not yet, though it's on my "to-do" list (lots of night games around these parts, so I have a reason to have it). Also, MICH helmets don't look quite right without a plate to mount NVG.

There's a Fallout LARP around here. I would go if their gun limits weren't 250 FPS, and no automatics until your third visit.

I mean the modern shit, save for one or two shows, I love Dexter's lab, Courage, Ed Edd and Eddy and Johnny Bravo.
