I guess if Megas XLR is an anime, I like that.
Chat thread's that way faggots
I find LARPing to be really lame. I guess RP in airsoft would be pretty fun, but I haven't tried it before.
There's talk of this in the local community. The most "roleplay" I've ever experienced since I started playing was simply an objective - two flags and an H1N1 bomb that had to be captured. That's it. No story apart from the explosives said to be loaded with swine flu. Now, it hasn't always been this bland. OP: CR was plotted from the results of OP: DR, and both had a storyline to them. Operation: Blue Virus was played between two different fields within literally walking distance of each other, and it even involved making fake drugs and selling them for gold bars (painted wood blocks...?). Some folks in prominent positions in the local group are spinning new ideas to spice up things this coming year. All the money accrued from admission fees at various fields is going towards funding new projects (such as fortifications and other makeshift buildings), which means things will actually be a bit more interesting very, very soon. Interesting scenarious and less of the typical mindless shootfests is coming down the pipe too. Things are heating up, and it's only a decade overdue (there's been a relatively solid airsoft following down here since the early 2000s). I wish we could do stuff like Timebomb's group. We'd just need a good place to do it...a miniature town, for instance, wouldn't really fit any current fields, except the tiniest one around here.
Anyone ordered anything from milspec monkey? I'm looking at getting a bunch of patches from them, and I was wondering what the shipping and handling time was.
Anyone ordered anything from milspec monkey? I'm looking at getting a bunch of patches from them, and I was wondering what the shipping and handling time was.
I usually buy patches from retail stores like AEX which is a couple blocks away no idea about ordering from them directly also wtf? I come in here in I find animay shit plastered on this page
Anyone ordered anything from milspec monkey? I'm looking at getting a bunch of patches from them, and I was wondering what the shipping and handling time was.
I did. Got all my stuff right away, I ordered a shitton of patches and an admin pouch. They even gave me a free calender because my order was over $80.
So if I order a few days after Christmas, I should be safe in getting them before January eighth, you think? Just wondering how long it took from your order to delivery.
I placed the order on the 4th, Shipped on the 8th and it got here on the 14th. That's from http://milspecmonkey.com/store/ which is based in CA shipped to NY.
where do you get a classic army m16a1/vn x series these days? i need it for my nam loadout and it's out of stock everywhere
Don't quote me on this, but I don't think they make them anymore. Give ASGI a call and ask, or Zshot or whatever their American supplier is.

[editline]16th December 2010[/editline]
Be lazy cunt - get E1 STAG15 VN
not a fan of echo 1
Unless you throw your gun into trees, Echo1 is fine.
Echo 1 M16's have that stupid metal hole in their stocks. I don't know why but it's ugly as hell. Try and find what CA's US based distrubutor is and call them for information. If not G&P VNM16 from China may be the next best thing as far as I know.
Am I the only one who would head for G&G or ICS instead of Echo1? Well the fact being that I never saw any Echo1 around here.
I'd rather go for a G&G personally. ECHO1 is alright, I'd just rather have something from another company.
Am I the only one who would head for G&G or ICS instead of Echo1? Well the fact being that I never saw any Echo1 around here.
I would rather go G&G, the price difference isn't huge (depending what you buy) and you get a better product in my opinion. I have no experience with ICS, or Echo 1 honestly.
G&G and ICS are quite a bit better then E1 from what I've heard.
Am I the only one who would head for G&G or ICS instead of Echo1? If you're going to be paying the kind of money you're paying up here in Canada, you might as well go all out and get something that's not a clone. Although even with Canadian prices there are still clones I would get like a Dboys AK.
sling mount
It looks like shit. What sling fits in that hole? That's like the fucking Tavor sling mount.

Still working, even though my TM EG1000 motor died, and that I'm back on the ol' stock motor, which is still working after over 45,000 rds. My main now being some ICS CXP .08. But yeah, being the guntech I am, I'd really rather go, as said, on higher end rifles for similar prices, like G&G over E1 and such. Edit: http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/4156/picture0023x.jpg The top one on this pic, the externals have over 50,000 rds shot.
Unless you throw your gun into trees, Echo1 is fine.
they just rebrand guns from cheap chinese clone companies like JG, cyma, etc and hitch up the price. and i'm done with chinese clones. also, the JG M16A1 (the gun that echo 1 rebranded) isn't even a real A1, it's a weird mixture of a1/a2 parts that the company attempted to throw together.

It died in May and now I have no working gun. Looking at picking up a G&G RK95 or Dboys AK-74M when I get AV'd on ASC in 2012 though.

mine was pretty awesome (btw if a kraken wasnt your first airsoft gun if you live in canada, you are not a real airsofter) it broke after a few games, but it was because of shitty trigger contacts. i got it fixed up and it lasted a year or two before i sold it.
