I'm surprised by the roughness the externals took on my kraken, internals were fine too, only kept them for two years, it's been running with modify/guader/scs/madbull parts since a while. I have hard time keeping my shit stock, I just love opening gearboxes. (Hence the reason it's my actual job)
mine was pretty awesome (btw if a kraken wasnt your first airsoft gun if you live in canada, you are not a real airsofter) it broke after a few games, but it was because of shitty trigger contacts. i got it fixed up and it lasted a year or two before i sold it.
My first gun was an A&K SPR. Does that make me not a real airsofter? Also one of my friends has a Kraken. He broke the stock on it and to make it even worse he bastardized it but taking rails off a springer M4 he had and somehow attaching them to the Kraken's handguard.

yeah you 2 are not ~legit~. my friend took a hacksaw to his kraken and it now is a ak pistol. it's tiny. i'll get some pictures of it next time i see him.
My first airsoft guns were some Kraken and a VSR10. Oh and my kraken once had a front shield on it. Took it off just in november this year, since it was getting quite loose. It also has no front sight, only a custom made one, because I lost mine, the bolt is held with foam.

I have the same thing, but just a flashlight. It's really good from what I've experienced.
them special slings forgot what they're called works 4da 1 point slings or qd slings or w/e it was
You're going to have to show me, because I have no idea what you're referring too. I've yet to see a sling that can fit into an Echo 1 full stock hole.
I need a light/laser combo
Damn, I read that as lightsaber

Now I see. Why would anyone want to mount a one-point sling on an M16? You'd drag the muzzle across the ground all day. The sling swivels are too close together to use a 2/3 point sling with that thing either.

I was thinking (with gloves, since the bolt is awful on your hands) that this would be an awesome deal after reading the comments, since I'll probably be able to afford that for Christmas. It'd go with my STALKER loadout. But once I buy the scope, scope mount, and bipod it's gunna be tons more. :v: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=5963 I also don't know if A&K is considered good.
TM AK47 + Guarder AK 74 kit = good I assume?
TM AK47 + Guarder AK 74 kit = good I assume?
Pick a better AK. TM is falling short these days.
There isn't really any in Britian these days sadly.
Pick a better AK. TM is falling short these days.
How so?
for the price TM isn't worth it imo
FUCK all the AK-74's in Britain being £300+.
How so?
Lack of power, rate of fire, external strength, ect. The only reason I would get one is if I wanted a loaner that wouldn't ever break ever.
Lack of power. Gotta give that one to you rate of fire. Nope, weaker spring, faster ROF external strength. Only on the old guns really. The plastic is just more flexible, not more breakable. ect. The only reason I would get one is if I wanted a loaner that wouldn't ever break ever.
[editline]16th December 2010[/editline] Plus, excellent consistency, accuracy, and range.
Also external strength. Note: Guarder AK 74 full steel and wood kit.
Also external strength. Note: Guarder AK 74 full steel and wood kit.
Guarder externals with stock TM internals. GOD TIER
The Guarder kit is only £130 on Zero one airsoft and I'm hoping it will not conflict with the stupid UKARA shit. It has so many loopholes in it anyway.

Everyone is suggesting that if you get it, to get a better spring. Some say a 170 spring works best, however i heard that the 170 causes too much stress on the internals and its safer to get a 150. In any case think i'm still getting this one sometime.
Oh right, missed the Guarder kit part. Go for it, sounds good.
