I've got one of the G&G Combat Machines too, albeit not one of the customized ones that ASGI does. Honestly, I say you get one of them. Damned nice guns and a damned nice price tag.
Get an M14 with real wood and make it a DMR. Then I will have to hunt you down and steal it. Get something different and exciting like a Sten :buddy: I'm not even sure if they make those.
I just saw a Sten somewhere and I can't remember what site it was.
The price tag is why I believe I can wait, that's not so bad to save up too in a month or two. The shotgun on the other hand is really expensive and all things considered, I'm not spending the money so it'd be neat. [editline]07:21PM[/editline] I got the okay for it. I'll order it tomorrow, I still need to consider. Most likely going to get ten blue shells and a pack of five madbull shells for it. [editline]07:57PM[/editline] Anyway, last confirmation, Redwolf is good to go?
Redwolf is ok to order from, just expect expensive shipping on guns. As for the marushin shells, I'm not sure if they will work. Tanaka shells hold gas inside the shells, while I seem to recall the marushin held gas inside the stock and the shells only held bbs. Best bet is to check Youtube videos on both brands and see how they are loaded.
I think I'm going to go back on this concept at the last second. I can only find Madbull shells for this thing and shipping is almost a hundred bucks. Ontop of it all it's a pretty impractical gun for me. Ender, you have a Combat Machine, right? How hard do you think it would be to put a full stock on that?
I'd say about 5 minutes of work. Not that hard to open the buffer tube with a hex key and unscrew the bolt holding the tube to the body, then attaching the solid stock. Now rewiring the battery to a full stock, that's a different story. I think mechbox.com had a guide on how to do this if your gun is already wired to the front.
Ehh, god this is hard choice. It's like buying a new car. The process of ordering that shotgun along with how impractical it is doesn't make me want it as much. I hate LE stocks so I'm not big on that the Combat Machine although it is incredible I hear, especially for that price. Going to order upgrade parts regardless for my CA. M249 is too much. So it's a neck and neck battle between either the G&G/A&K GR300 or Combat Machine.
I dislike AK's I think they're boring and ugly.
I think you're boring and ugly then :colbert: [editline]01:09AM[/editline]
So it's a neck and neck battle between either the G&G/A&K GR300 or Combat Machine.
Go with the G&G.
So this is my roundup to my knowledge so far; A&K G300 * Full Metal Body. Solid Gun. * I like the looks, it pleases me to look at it. * Folding Stock is a neat touch. * High FPS (400FPS out of the box) FPS does not make a gun but considering I play on unregulated fields and that it will wear down over time it's pretty nice) * Includes battery and a few other neat items for a all around nice package. The G&G Combat Machine: * It's G&G, nuff said. * Neat blowback function. * Slightly larger battery compartment * Tough, durable body and build * Decent internals and externals out of the box with a good FPS
The Combat Machine G&G or the GR 300 G&G?
heres an idea: Make a new loadout, focus on gear?
I'm ordering two new mag pouches for this order and I have a light chest rig on it's way. How much more equipment does a gear-whore need?
What are you smoking? AK's are sexy. Whichever you get, you will be happy G&G is amazing.
The Combat Machine G&G or the GR 300 G&G?
Well, if I went with a GR300 it'd most likely be an A&K purely because the price is right.
The Combat Machine G&G or the GR 300 G&G?
Oh, I meant this. You already have an M4, why buy another?
Oh, I meant this. You already have an M4, why buy another?
Good point, good point.
What ever makes you happy. Go for it. I'm happy I got my Desert Knight. Everyday I wake up, and it's muzzle is pointed right at my head, like it wants to kill me. But it doesn't. Because it loves me. <3
M4's are pretty ugly and too common IMO.
M4's are pretty ugly and too common IMO.
This, this, and this. Also, PPSH and Engie update this week. IS GOOD WEEK.
M4's are pretty ugly and too common IMO.
Only some are, IMO. Mine at least has some color to it.

I just need to figure out what kind of battery to shove into it. A 9.6 Nunchuck should work.

Is there SERIOUSLY not enough room on your IBA?
Why do you need a thigh rig? Is there SERIOUSLY not enough room on your IBA?
Believe it or not, but IBA's don't really have a ton of room. There's only so much space you can effectively use. Anyways, I'm ordering a set of these soon. Seems like a good price. Is there SERIOUSLY not enough room on your IBA?
Fills out the legs a bit more, lets me mount something from my vest down to my legs so I can put my dump pouch on the vest. Fills out my legs, it will help with my light-weight rig too. [editline]09:28PM[/editline] I can't find out if it takes a large or a Mini. I'm assuming mini. [editline]09:32PM[/editline] It's a mini. Anyway, this is a costly order. The Tavor was less then this. [editline]09:34PM[/editline] I am the most indecisive guy around. I think I'm just going to buy upgrade parts and wait for the TAR 21.
The problem I see with the GR300 (from my perspective) is the lack of external upgrades it can accept later on. The stock and lower receiver will probably be proprietary to the LR300 design, meaning no other stocks are going to fit. There's not much of an extension on the back of the lower receiver to attach a buffer tube to, though there are some lipo capable buffer tubes that will fit the shorter extensions. I'd like to imagine you can switch the front end though, but I'm not familiar with the design. I mention this because the handguard lacks rails, something you may want later down the road. At least with the generic M4 you know you can upgrade it to whatever you want later on.
Well, I've decided, done alot of thought on the subject and decided that I'll wait for the Tavor because I'll be unhappy with anything else. So, next month there is a possibility for an ETA to be announced. I need to talk to my father, maybe I can get those upgrade parts in the mean time.

It really doesn't give you any sort of edge in combat (Except for maybe a folding stock), its all for tacticool/personalization factor.
Okay, after all this I've decided to wait for the Tavor and hopefully the money will still be around when it comes out. Thanks for the help, if the Tavor dream never reaches fruition then this information will help me decide an alternative.
