Is it possible to weather an ABS stock. I want my m14 to look old and gritty.
I think the only way to do it would be to re-paint it.

Yeah, sorry. I really don't think it's possible to weather plastic of any kind unless you just paint it.

On the stock for my M16 I took a knife to it and made random markings on the stock. I think I overdid it though.
Actually yeah, if you want it to look worn, paint it a camo or someshit first, then wear down the paint into the plastic.

Sure, the body is slightly different, but I only did a repaint.
I was trying to go for a dirty worn look, seeing as the game (fallout 3) took place like 200 years after the rifles were built. I think the paintjob is pretty good because the rifle used to be completely black.

I knew that, but the fact that it's only $25 and is made by a company I've never heard of. I've gone to the shotgun section of ASGI quite a few times and I've never seen that.

the foregrip seems like it'd be worth it, although i'll most likely end up 'magwell grip'-ing it anyway :v:
