If you're going to get a fixed vest, then get a Chicom or the Commando chest rig. Those are really awesome and cheap, I must say after actually trying a crossdraw I don't like them.
So I'm considering an H&K gun for my next gun (or that pink m4), either the legendary JG G36c or one of CYMA's new MP5s which are apparently pretty good. If you guys know of any nice G3s It would be appreciated if you told me about them (not the CA, those are out of stock everywhere).
Get an ICS or G&G MP5.
Get an ICS or G&G MP5.
ICS I hear horror stories about every day. G&G is probably what I will get actually, why wasn't that my first choice? :ohdear:
I like the G36C personally, it's reputation really precedes it.
I like the G36C personally, it's reputation really precedes it.
It is a great gun, like, a really great gun.
get a G&G MP5 or a G36 if you don't mind having a hard time pulling mags out of your pouches
get a G&G MP5 or a G36 if you don't mind having a hard time pulling mags out of your pouches
I'm seriously considering cutting off the clippy tabs on the sides of the mags if I do get a G36.
I'm seriously considering cutting off the clippy tabs on the sides of the mags if I do get a G36.
Why not connect your mags for a quicker reload? Could save your scrawny ass in battle.
Why not connect your mags for a quicker reload? Could save your scrawny ass in battle.
Because then I probably couldn't use them in pouches. Do you know how thick G36 mags are?
Because then I probably couldn't use them in pouches. Do you know how thick G36 mags are?
No, I don't Sorry, the biggest gun I've ever played with was a WELL P90 in my front yard.

Are the ICS MP5s really that bad?
Are the ICS MP5s really that bad?
The brand ICS is really that bad.
Anyone know about Socom Gear guns? This one in particular.
ICS I hear horror stories about every day. G&G is probably what I will get actually, why wasn't that my first choice?
from what i've heard ICS is pretty own
from what i've heard ICS is pretty own
Their MP5s and SIGs are the only ones I would say are own, as those are kinda the two their known to make. The rest I get horror stories about and quite a few end up with me to be fixed.

The only bad thing I have to say against ICS would be the weak piston design. Other than that, I love the split gearbox on the Armalites. At least my CXP.08 has been doing fine. It's still stock, and I love it more than my 4 years old modified Cyma Cm028. The split gearbox is wonderful for guntech like me, really. It just takes 5 mins to change everything in the upper gearbox that way. Really, and it's sportsline. Now, the regular one is great, just the weak piston design again. Yet, at the end of the winter I'll change everything in the gearbox with Modify's and Guarder's part, anbd maybe a prometheus barrel. Probably around 45% less on average.
As a fellow tech I must say that the split gearbox design is neat, but taking the gearbox out isn't that hard in the first place, assuming you know what your doing.
It isn't, but when you just have so change the piston, or whatever is in the upper gearbox, it's quite faster. Never said it was hard(That would be quite bad considering I've been playing with gearboxes since 2 years and a bit more.), just said it was way faster. Remove the two pins and slide it out! It doesn't take me really long to disassemble any V2 or V3 gearbox, gun included. I just like the split gearbox.
So if I am getting an ICS AK, should I replace the piston then? Anything else?
Problem with the split gearbox: If someone really wanted, and I mean REALLY wanted to break FPS rules, they could easily change their shit out on the field.
Problem with the split gearbox: If someone really wanted, and I mean REALLY wanted to break FPS rules, they could easily change their shit out on the field.
Not really a problem, if you're that scared about it, just ask them to show you what they've got in their vest. Or else. And if I really wanted to, I could change the spring on any AK in about 15 mins. Even on field, as I alway have tools and grease in my vest. Even most V2 too.
So if I am getting an ICS AK, should I replace the piston then? Anything else?
If it breaks.
Sounds good. I'm excited to get it. From what I've heard it has the same ride rail as real steel so Kobras and that all just mount without modification.
Can anyone help me locate some information of TAR 21 sling mounts? I want to mount the IDF Bungee Sling to it but I'm not positive how the sling mount works.. it's just a hole. I've heard that the IDF slings are just pieces of paracord the slip through it, but I've also heard about sling swivels that mount in the hole, so any information would be helpful.
Did you ever get that chinese clone brassgaurd?
Yeah, I was looking at those and I could use an opinion on it. [editline]22nd December 2010[/editline] Also what the hell is ASGK?
How much would a broken Echo 1 Full Metal M4 sell for? It comes with an NC Star red dot, mock silencer, and all the original accessories that normally come with it such as battery, charger, mag, box, manual, etc. Some guy offered me $130, is that good? The trigger contacts are blown, that's the only problem.
