Propane in the long run isn't expensive at all. Anyway, my personal opinion on GBBR is that it ain't worth it at all.
Propane isn't expensive, but it isn't free either.
Propane isn't expensive, but it isn't free either.
Well 5$ for a can that'll last you a long run, isn't really something I'd be worried about.
$5 a can and I haven't finished my first one yet. Seriously. I've been using the same can for my GBB with regular use for four months with multiple times loaning it out to other players.
Co2 is also insanely cheap, it's like 250+ shots from one 50 cent canister.
Renegade, get on Gearwhore chat. I'll show you my G23.
GBBR's are more of a novelty item, but they are becoming more skirmishable. I really only recommend them to someone who's used AEG's for years and has plenty of them, has a good source of income, doesn't mind investing in them, and is willing to spend time maintaining a GBBR.
So, I want an ACOG of some sort. Problem is, the real ones will run me nearly one grand. Any of you know of a good reproduction for airsoft ect. that won't make my wallet cry as much?
Plenty of cheap ones out there. You got your red dot versions (which I think are stupid) and you got your 4x magnifying ACOGs. Most of them are available overseas, you don't see many sold in the U.S. Ebaybanned has a variety of them. http://www.ebairsoft.com/ta31-combat-scope-black-p-1710.html Airsoft Panda has a very nice 4x ACOG with an illuminated reticule, along with other models. My friend had one of these and it was awesome looking. I bought my ACOG from this site as well. One thing to remember is these ACOG's tend to not have the greatest eye relief. You'll have to mount these scopes pretty far back so it's close enough to your eye. If you're using a M4 you should have no problems. Thanks for the help. The Airsoft Panda link is a little weird, though. Can't see anything. This'll go on the M4 if I get one. The one on Ebairsoft has no red Chevron...is this typical of all clones, or just that particular one/a few?

are there any relatively inexpensive flashlight/laser combos out there with a pressure switch what would fit onto my kwa sr5? [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] ooh, and ive got a triangular front sight on the gun that i simply CANNOT remove, even though on asgi their pic had it with flip up sights, and ideas on how i can get rid of it? [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] its kinda bugging me because its making it impossible to mount any optics whatsoever

And here's a nice PEQ-15 at ASGI for $65, but it's out of stock atm. Page King Baybeeee I know, i know :frog:
The literal only prob I see with that is it looks like the laser and flashlight are turned on at the same time.
I need a reliable somewhat moderate priced smart charger for regular 9.6 Intellect battery, anyone have a recommendation? Please and thanks. Cause the guy at evike didn't bother to mention smart charger till i asked him about any chargers, but they were out of it, no time to get the ASGI that day before i left to get back to SF.
I have a blue mart charger that says UNIVERSAL SMART CHARGER in yellow on it, it's pretty good, i'm just not sure if it automatically stops charging or not.
The literal only prob I see with that is it looks like the laser and flashlight are turned on at the same time.
I was thinking you press it once for light, twice for laser, thrice for both or something to that effect.
The literal only prob I see with that is it looks like the laser and flashlight are turned on at the same time.
I think the dial at the lower-right controls the power flow - you can choose "laser", "laser and light", or "light".
I have a blue mart charger that says UNIVERSAL SMART CHARGER in yellow on it, it's pretty good, i'm just not sure if it automatically stops charging or not.
I'm pretty sure I have the same one, yes it does.
So fish muffin (I'm his friend) has an extra V.2 gearbox. Any good ideas on what we could do with it? We want to do something interesting with it.

There's a deactivated BAR hanging in a local sports store near me, not for sale though.
thanks for telling me. anyone have any idea besides filing it down for the front sight though? i like my rifles more flat on the top.
thanks for telling me. anyone have any idea besides filing it down for the front sight though? i like my rifles more flat on the top.
Did you try punching the pins out on the triangular sight yet? They're just below the barrel on the sight and need to be pushed out to remove the sight. Might have a set screw under the barrel too. Do you have a picture or link to the exact gun? It would help alot.
Find deactivated rifle Put gearbox/hopup/airsoft barrel in deactivated rifle ??? Profit
Is that even legal?
It's illegal doing it the other way.
Is that even legal?
I don't believe so. It's an already non-functioning gun. Turning it into an airsoft rifle would probably be considered safer.

What were you even asking? About a laser/flashlight combo? Look for yourself, although they are a tad pricey, like $60-80.
Anyone know where I can track down cheap/replica IDF vests or look-alikes? Yeah, I'm still exploring that option. So far Zahal is the only place I can find them and they're no less then $200. Bit pricey for me.

You'll need to remove the flash hider too.
Only one problem. There's a gas tube that goes INTO the triangular sight.
