You have to get a flip-up sight to hide the gas tube.
Who makes really good green gas?
Who makes really good green gas?
I'd say the propane adapter + propane bottle one :smug: But seriously? The green gas brand or whatever are all the same. It's propane mixed with silicone oil. Just overpriced for what it is.
Yeah, I'm buying a propane adapter instead. Suggestions on which one? Like a Madbull one? Also, how would I lube that? Just put silicone oil down the barrel of the gun?

As for the propane adapter, I'm pretty much liking the AI one. http://www.airsoft-innovations.com/products/ai-gungas-propane-adaptor-kit
I had problems with the Madbul one, no problems with the AI one though!
I'm going to pick up that AI Gascan eventually...
I have the bright green propane adapter. That works just as fine. Metal ones can damage the magazines if you're not careful, bang up the port or what not, where as plastic adapters will yield before they do any damage.
AI one are great, if they break, they aren't expensive. Plus that duster adapter can be used as replacement if the upper one on the propane adapter bends.
http://www.airsplat.com/Items/GG-TAG-ADAP-SIL.htm I know, it's Airsplt.
http://www.airsplat.com/Items/GG-TAG-ADAP-SIL.htm I know, it's Airsplt.
Never saw, never heard of that one.
Neither have I. But it's only $14, and it comes with the oil. Figured I'll give it a shot.
get the ai one goddamp
Neither have I. But it's only $14, and it comes with the oil. Figured I'll give it a shot.
It's up to you, the quality of it may be or may be not cheap. As I've never heard of it before, I can't really say if it's good or not. Though, the AI one comes with oil too, but it's 27$ instead of 14$. But with the AI you're sure to get known and quality stuff.
get the AI one ok it's what I use as well, I got it for $17 at a local store though

would there be any problems if I run propane in a GBBR? With the silicon added to the propane, of course. It doesn't seem like there'd be any problems, but I remember seeing some people having problems with it

I'd rather run GG through it, but ffs it's so expensive and shit I'll probably end up just running propane through it, hopefully it doesn't fuck up my o-rings or anything
All my friends with KJW GBBR's use propane without problems.
With a propane adapter you can easily increase the ratio of silicone oil to gas if you're really worried about reliability. The only real downside is the odor - I find it simply unmanageable on full-auto unless firing outdoors and changing position frequently.
I don't mind the smell of propane, you get used to it.
I don't mind the smell of propane, you get used to it.
Like big man does. :smug:
