is your gun co2? if yes: no if no: yes
I know its a cheap gun but I was just wondering if this style of gun is like LPEG of gas http://www.amazon.com/Firepower-SoftAir-Interrogator-Powered-Black-Silver/dp/B000GE1IC4 (CO2 canister IN the mag) (also I only got it because it was twenty five bucks at a pawnshop)

Yeah that sucks balls.

Plastic CO2 non-blowbacks are pretty much identical internally and really cheap to mass-produce. It's not "shit" if you're just looking to plink targets in your backyard, but those types of guns aren't any fun to use while playing, mostly because of the typical long trigger-pull. $25 was a good deal, but I still wouldn't have made the purchase. It doesn't really matter where the CO2 goes; the Crosman C11 and its plethora of clones all have a different CO2 system but inevitably fall into the same class as described above.
CO2 NBBs are really only good if you need a cheap backup or cold-weather sidearm. That's why I bought my M&P, for winter.

(slide and mag is metal, most of the body is decent plastic and rubber.)
Anyone know of a place that isn't in Hong Kong where I can find one of these VFC KAC QD AR suppressors?
Can be done with semi-auto. Full auto is overkill.
But you see, it can be done more effectively with full auto. The sound itself is enough to make people hug their cover.
But you see, it can be done more effectively with full auto. The sound itself is enough to make people hug their cover.
This. Plus its hard to lay down covering fire when you have like 20 round mags. Its gonna be really easy for anyone who isnt using a pistol to get fire superiority on you.

The pump doesn't look that good.

The effectiveness of a big, loud weapon is somewhat underestimated. Personally, I tend to flinch at just the sound of a BB slapping into something/someone nearby. A big loud AEG only helps me along in wanting to take cover and not come out.
The pump doesn't look that good.
It's Double Eagle. It's probably garbage. As "durable" as some spring guns are, I've handled a lot of poor-quality ones in my time. Most of them broke in <100 shots. I expect nothing from a DE.

I only see people talking about their cheapo springers. They make AEGs, don't they? Nobody uses the latter of the two. Agreed on the quality, though - the clone companies have really stepped it up.
Double Eagle's shotguns are actually probably their only good thing they've got going.
You just said they're like CYMA...most CYMA guns are half decent now.
DE does make AEGs w/ metal gear boxes and shit buy they still aren't something I would buy unlike CYMA's AEGs i'm just saying they're like CYMA in that they've improved
You just said they're like CYMA...most CYMA guns are half decent now.
"half decent" fuck off, they have seriously stepped up their game from what it was a year or two ago.
So has every other clone company. Nobody really uses DE AEGs, though. Not here. Whereas there are a boatload of people fielding CYMAs, JGs, ect. around these parts.
Me, 64k1, Cubeman, and Ender all have the trishots they make. They are worth the dosh by far.
i had their shit m87 shotgun that wasn't shit at all
i had their shit m87 shotgun that wasn't shit at all
i had same gun and broke stock on fucking pinetree!!1 stupid chinese shit!!!
Me, 64k1, Cubeman, and Ender all have the trishots they make. They are worth the dosh by far.
Maybe. I just know nobody uses their AEGs.
I just took apart a Double Eagle gearbox, and ran the motor off a Duracell C battery. Was great fun.

Their not terrible, just bad.
DE AEGs are shit. Their tri-shots, however, are amazing and well worth the $55. [editline]6th January 2011[/editline] Shit I forgot about the UMP. That's probably their best AEG. Their M83,M85, and M84 or whatever they call their M4, Sig, and G36 are shit.

That's BE. The only metal gearbox AEG that DE makes is the UMP AFAIK.
I have a double eage M805 or whatever the fuck it is shorty M4, codemonkey and nivek may hae seen it as the gun with the stock that broke off because of freezing temperatures, it isnt too bad, perfect for CQB though, bought it for sixty bucks, now I cant find much at all on it
A kid and his dad who play here (and cheat like nobody's business) both use DE UMPs. He seems like the type for it - it's amazing how little interest he has in airsoft. I was sort of commenting more on the locals, though. Nobody around *here* uses DE AEGs pretty much.
