Freeman Gordon
My buddy uses Freeman. Sounds pretty cool IMO.
How about The Winchester!?
How about Ringo? I have down syndrome when it comes to making names.
[editline]02:02AM[/editline]
Going for Freeman! :buddy: I like it.
What color for the name tape? Black letters on OD?
My last names Oliver.
I wonder what that ammounts to.
Well, it's advertised (Although in hindsight it apparently isn't) as a plug and play charger which automatically detects the charge time and amperage to charge the battery you plug into it and then will shut off when it's charged and move to a trickle charge after it emits a series of loud beeps.
Well, it doesn't do any of that so I have to enter the amperage and such into it manually and I know jack shit about electricity and charging batteries so I've overcharged three batteries so far.
It's a simple equation. The number of Amps or milliamps (mAh) is how much it will charge per hour. My charger is capable of only a charge rate of 600mAh. The highest you should go for a standard charge is 1000mAh, or 1 Amp. Any faster than that and it's considered a quick charge, something you should try not to do too often.
So lets say we have the charger set to charge at 600mAh @ 9.6v. Our battery in this scenario will be a 9.6v 3600mAh battery.
Using the Equation
Battery mA / Charge rate (mAh) = Hours to charge.
3600mAh / 600mAh = 6 hours to charge
If I could make this a sticky I would.
Green Olive?

Dammit.
My friend asked me to help him track down a nice Full Metal M16 for his first real gun, I gave him the choice between a Classic Army and this TSD:

I don't see any real problem with it, looks like a really good deal actually. Does anyone have an experience with TSD?
[editline]04:42PM[/editline]
It's got a full stock so I'm looking at it and I think you could squeeze in a 9.6v.
G&G
I showed him the Combat Machine but he wants an M16 and the only one they sell is over $400.

One of my friends has the same gun except with a removable carrying handle. I can say from seeing it in action and shooting it a couple times it's a beast.
I suggested that to him too, he really wants the TSD though. Also I'm pretty sure he wants a removable carrying handle.
I have never encountered TSD in Britain. Is it an American only company or something?

It's the American name of SRC.
So no one can advise me on TSD?
So no one can advise me on TSD?
No one here has TSD, so there's probably a good reason for that.
Is it odd I want a TSD XM8?
So no one can advise me on TSD?
Well I've heard good things about their HK416 series.
TSD has pretty good reviews on GI. Usually 3-4.5 stars.
I've bought BB's from TSD. 'Twas great quality.
I didn't think they were that bad myself, I just wanted to see if anyone else had an opinion.
I say tell him to get the TSD.

You're not the only one, I came close to buying one.
Haven't heard a whole lot on TSD M4/M16's myself but I've heard great things about their Gen II and III G36 line up. I would like to think this quality transfers over to their other guns, but you never know.

I've heard good things about their XM8's, which are an H&K design. I don't know, something is just really appealing about that gun to me.
I believe it has a working 3x scope in it too, something none of other XM8's have.

It's not an Ares Tavor-21, but it'll do.
3x integrated scope, 350FPS, all for $168. Gen III to be exact.

Ninja'd on the scope mention. Ahaha
Please don't mention the ARES Tavor, it's too soon.. still.. hurts..
Wait, Trinity Airsoft lists SRC as TSD. So are SRC and TSD the same? Or are they under the same management?

TSD is similar to Echo 1. They import SRC products into the US and rebrand them as TSD. The only difference is where you can buy whatever Echo 1 rebrands from the original company at a lower price, you cannot buy from SRC in the US.

Dude I would just wait for it to come. Beast of a gun.
Dude I would just wait for it to come. Best of a gun.
There is absolutely no indication as to when that'll be, it's been over a 140 days since the last shipment and we're now just getting the Dark Earth editions, but there is no word on the black MARS.
[editline]09:37PM[/editline]
Their distribution is one guy working out of his home in Texas.
[editline]09:38PM[/editline]
ARES doesn't have them pre-made in their warehouse either, the shipments are made to order and the entire distribution right process is fucked beyond all recognition which is why there are none in the US anymore.
