It took two hands and alot of time because the spring has more tension then the old one and was a bit longer but I got the gearbox together.
I've never put a spring in, don't know how they're supposed to go.

(Well, I put in the stock-spring before, never a after-market one)
Just a quick question - does anyone know if AK74 mags fit in AK47s and vice versa? And Galils - do they take mags other than Galil mags (AR, AK?)
I heard something about ak mags fitting into Galils with modification.
I know that those AK mid cap P-Mags fit the Galil
Alright here is my final shopping cart. Unless anyone has any objections.

Yeah seems in order but why go Echo 1 for a spring? Why not Systema because they are relatively cheap and good quality?
Hmmm good point, I just chose it because it was the first one that showed up.

Also, if I use the code 'tim' don't I get 15% off?
[editline]11:39PM[/editline]
Or was it 'hot'?

Tim is the one that works still.

Try Hot to see if they're still doing that promotion. If not then use Tim. That'll get you 10%.
Already did it. Used Tim and it worked. Is Tim reusable?
They're all reusable I remember hearing, also there was a third, another guy who worked theres name.
Also, I called ASGI and they told me my Trigger Shuttle spring is borked or something, need to try again tomorrow perhaps. Also that SP110 spring should be good to go.
Side note;
Does anyone know where they sell little square IR tags?
[editline]11:22PM[/editline]
God damnit.

There you go.
Or:
http://www.opsgear.com/index/page/product/product_id/2038/product_name/1+Inch+Infrared+IFF+Tape+(Identify+Friend+or+Foe)
The thing that sucks is the only thing I need are the IR tabs for five bucks and shipping is like $25.
Why are these mags so expensive?

Anyone have any suggestions for good M14 mags that'll fit into the cyma m14?
Edit:
Yea I noticed that right after I posted, I guess I'll just get the cyma hi-caps since they're metal and 15 bucks a piece. I'm gonna sound like a maraca... :smith:
They are metal. That's why. I'm sure it costs around 30 bucks to produce those, markup is a bitch.
Hi-caps make me :saddowns:
Hi-caps make me :saddowns:
This, I hate high caps so much.
I probably won't fill them all the way so I can walk without *SHIKKASHIKKASHIKA*
Man I have to use hicaps where ever I go now. Shoot last weekend at Fort Ord me and my buddies were going through ammo fast. I would carry 5 M4 hicaps, and by the end of 90 minutes I'd be working on my last mag. For once I actually had to toss some mags to my friends because they were out of ammo in a firefight.
I could use midcaps, but I'm going to have to carry over 10 of them to be effective.
That's why I have two High Caps for backup :eng101:
(Once I get my motherfucking midcaps :saddowns:)
I blow through so much ammo that I would need way too many midcaps to be effective. I'm starting to get better at conserving ammo but semi auto on both my AUG and M16 are broken. The AUG just doesn't shoot in semi and the M16 just shoots full auto when the selector switch is on semi. Both guns have an extremely high rate of fire too.
I try to conserve ammo, I even use semi auto the majority of the time, but when you pair up a 11.1v lipo with a quick trigger finger it's almost as bad as full auto.
Man you guys spray alot haha. We have a ammo limit of 120 bb's for each mission during OPs. Each mission can take around a hour or more. Semi-auto only here.
That's what I do. I spray. Usually 475 rounds for one target. You call it overkill, I call it killing the target and its afterlife.
I usually use about 10 rounds per target and sometimes pop a few in bushes to make sure that leaf I just saw move isn't an enemy. I would be fine with 5 midcaps for a whole game.

One mag one kill.

What the fuck, are you serious?
I dont even dump that much ammo at a target. And Im ME.
No I'm not serious! lol
Geez, I can use a 3000bb bag for 2 different game days...
