You won't be able to put 4.5mm pellets through an airsoft gun anyway.
do they make any more sound than an airsoft gun?
A little more, but no were close to a real gun.
You won't be able to put 4.5mm pellets through an airsoft gun anyway.
well assuming they were 6mm. I do like the rifle but i like the usp for size
well assuming they were 6mm. The problem is airsoft gun barrels are made of bronze(or is it brass?) So I'd imagine they'd get pretty scratched and worn down fast.
Some are brass, others aluminum, still others steel.
Or plastic if it's a Walmart springer.
I remember the first gun I used was a springer MP5. I would tip it forward and the BB would come out...
The first springer I owned was an M4, with a scope, laser, and a PEQ box that served as a blue flashlight.
First springer was a WALTER PP7 from Gander Mountain. Worked up to the day I lost it in the woods during a planking game (That's what they're called, right?) Grandfather found it yeeears later and gave it back. Doesn't work but I still have it.
Rifle team makes me want to buy a sniper though, what kind of range and accuracy do you get from a 550fps (my field limit) rifle shooting .28?
It depends on alot of other factors besides FPS.
My first was a plastic MP5. It never actually functioned but I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. I tried to take it apart once and I sort of broke it anyway.
First springer was a cheap ass P226 then I got a dual tone M9 then a Mac11. Then I got my PDW :buddy: I still have the M9.
My first guns was for my birthday in a bundle. Two cheap double Eagle short and fat pistols and a CYMA Uzi with tacticool attatchemnts.
It depends on alot of other factors besides FPS.
What can you upgrade to further range? I know you could get a tighter barrel for accuracy and you could adjust the hop-up for more range, but let's say you had all of that down and fixed how far could you shoot somewhat accurately?
Probably very far. You might want to upgrade other parts too so that the stress doesn't destroy your gun.
Dang, I should start saving up for money after I get my chest rig done then.
My first gun was a blue M500 I found at Walmart.
First springer was a cheap ass P226 then I got a dual tone M9 then a Mac11. Then I got my PDW :buddy: I still have the M9.
My first springer was a P226 too. But one day the mag catch just came out of the gun for no reason and I couldn't get it back in.
First springer was a UTG MK23. Very nice springer, I still have the silencer, which was surprisingly good as well. EDIT: Oh, and the reason for my post. What have peoples experiences been with OETech stuff? I've pretty much just run Pantac or real deal gear in the past, but I'm looking at building a really light rig and don't have a lot of money ATM, so I'm looking at their battle belt and H-Harness set up... is it worth it?
NEVER EVER have I had a problem with OE Tech. I swear by it.
OE-Tech is awesome. Oh, and the first springer I had was a UHC USP, I've still got it around somewhere.
OE Tech = Condor, just for reference.
First gun I had was actually a gas-blowback M9, a KWC M92FS, I believe. Safety got jammed in the 'on' position, somehow. The actual safety lever didn't move the thing that locks the trigger, and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Not even sure where it is now.

I have one and it works great, though I don't use it nearly as often as I should. Comfortable, adjustable, and fairly durable. There may be one or 2 loops of the webbing that are undersized but nothing else really wrong with it. Just be sure you have a belt that can run through the battle belt, as it doesn't come with one.
Anyone know where I can get a PFI Smoke Cap refill? All the sites I've found are out of stock.
Anyone know where I can get a PFI Smoke Cap refill? All the sites I've found are out of stock.
I've turned up nothing. I found the silencer from an Irish airsoft site, but I'm sure you don't want to purchase the entire thing again. They look pretty cool though.
They're alright, the plastic threads are a bitch, since they've gotten stuck more than once. Also triples the amount of times I need to clean the barrel, but it does look pretty rad. I'd just like a refill since it's useless without the refill cartridge. I don't have the cartridge anymore since I had to rip through the suppressor to take it off. It's not too big of a deal, I was going to build myself another suppressor anyways.
Anyone know where I can get a PFI Smoke Cap refill? All the sites I've found are out of stock.
No, but the ones on http://Rap4.com work almost exactly the same.
I want this patch. Reminds me of the "Welcome to The Suck" quote from Jarhead.
Well, just so I have options, I want to check another gun I could buy. I'm not buying from Evike, don't worry, but what is your opinion on this gun: http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=28595
