So basically hold out on sniping for now? Because I can kind of snipe with my M4, I figured out I was pretty good at it so yeah. Oh and what about the DE/TSD shotguns? I'm trying to fan out a shit ton right now because I just got a job and am just waiting for enough money at this point to get A: A good sniper, probably a TM VSR-10, and B: A nice shotgun of some kind. I have like $170 right now for airsoft.
I hear most of the L96-pattern rifles have a problem with the bolt locking up when used incorrectly. I think Tim from AGI had a video about it. Only thing I can suggest is a VSR-10 or a clone, but as you say, they do seem to be mostly out of stock. I've got a site that's in stock, but they ship exclusively to Canada. I hear the TSD M700 is decent for it's price, but does require modding to fit some upgrading parts. I'd wait for someone else's more experienced opinion rather than taking mine though. If this is your first gun, don't get a dedicated sniper rifle. Go instead for a DMR-sort of rifle, like a full length M16 with decent optics or something. [editline]asd[/editline] Anyone have a first hand experience with using an EOTech and magnifier? I'd like to get something like this with an M14 for a SDM-role, but the EOTech+Magnifier combo seems really rare, probably for a good reason.
Damn and I discovered my sn1p3r sk1illz just after I sold my M16 too. How about an M14? I love the look of them, I was thinking maybe a SOC16 type one, with a barrel extension? Also for the TSD/DE shotguns, where is the M1014 ones' cocking handle? On the side?

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=154_157&products_id=2681 I'd buy it, if I lived in the US. Although I can't say personally how good this particular M14 is, I know G&G, and their shit is always top-quality.
Also for the TSD/DE shotguns, where is the M1014 ones' cocking handle? On the side?
Its the front handguard.
Does ANYONE know ANYWHERE I can get a new KSC/KWA Glock? I know they're discontinued and all, but any help on this is appreciated. I'd prefer the 18, but any other is OK. Edit: Kawaii: Really? it doesn't seem like there's room for it to move.
Doesn't the M1014 have a charging handle on the ejection port?
Yeah. There's no room for the front handguard to move back to cock it.

Not too hard to find. Decide what you want bro. [editline]03:49AM[/editline]
Yeah. Hm. Never seen the handguard pulled back like that. Wondering if it's just the airsoft models, since I was almost sure that you had to cycle it using the charging handle. [editline]01:22AM[/editline]
So my first pay-day is coming up, I'm considering buying one of those cheap 3-shot shotguns. I want one that has shotgun shell magazines, other then that I'd like a stock but I can work with it. I was reading the reviews around here about the M1014 but I can't find it on Airsoft GI in stock. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_181&products_id=5903 Considering I hear it's not bad and only $50 I don't think I can go wrong.
Hey CodeMonkey, just an FYI, the M3L shotgun is a tad longer than an M4 carbine. I don't know about the M1014, but the M3L was surprisingly long. I'm under the impression that the M1014 is longer, but take it from someone else who's owned it.
I don't play CQB games, it's just a knock around, hand-out sort of thing. I rather it be long, I hate 'sawn' off shotguns. I'd prefer a shotgun without a pistol grip like these ones come with but I can't find one that takes shells like that.
Ok ok is there any other guns that are cheap that I could use for my outfit (STALKER) It has to be russian or british.
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2903 D boys aks47u its a weapon you most commonly see in STALKER loadouts since its one of the most used in game. and i think a few people on these forums own them im not too sure though
If someone gave me one that they didnt want anymore I could love them and buy them something back.

[editline]01:22AM[/editline]
It's only airsoft because you cant make a semi auto springer. [editline]12:50PM[/editline]
If someone gave me one that they didnt want anymore I could love them and buy them something back.
No one is going to buy you one.
Not sure if this is the right thread for it, but does anyone know how to properly utilize a Multi-Wrap? Is there a guide or something for it?

[editline]12:50PM[/editline] No one is going to buy you one.
:smith: [editline]10:38AM[/editline] Even a shotgun like the ones from stalker would be nice, I can deal with spring shotguns because its a pump
:smith: [editline]10:38AM[/editline] Even a shotgun like the ones from stalker would be nice, I can deal with spring shotguns because its a pump
No. Buy your own shit.
Not sure if this is the right thread for it, but does anyone know how to properly utilize a Multi-Wrap? Is there a guide or something for it?
Trying to help out by retoasting for him.
Not sure if this is the right thread for it, but does anyone know how to properly utilize a Multi-Wrap? Is there a guide or something for it?
Which style do you want to tie it in? I'll try to help.
:smith: [editline]10:38AM[/editline] Even a shotgun like the ones from stalker would be nice, I can deal with spring shotguns because its a pump
Cheer up bud. If you don't want to spend a bunch of money on a gun you can run out to a field and rent one for the day. Enjoy yourself and see if you like it, if you do express how much you like it to your parents and how it helps you get exercise and they might buy one for you.
Which style do you want to tie it in? I'll try to help.
I don't think I can tie it. It's just a sleeve. A balaclava would be appreciated.
If you are going to snipe, dont skimp. Sniping is one of the most expensive things you can do in airsoft. Cheap sniper rifles tend to be completely useless.
This is true. My local store only carries like two higher-end Snipers, cause they get so many people coming in trying to get crappy <$200 Snipers.
The main thing for me would be kids buying hot AEG's. They don't realize they'll be 100 feet in the back, not to mention it wears heavily on the gun.
The main thing for me would be kids buying hot AEG's. They don't realize they'll be 100 feet in the back, not to mention it wears heavily on the gun.
True, but most Chinese clones have enough FPS for small game hunting. And guess what guns most kids buy?
True, but most Chinese clones have enough FPS for small game hunting. And guess what guns most kids buy?
The ones that go through animals of course. I remember one game where we had to halt mid-round, because we found out someone had loaded metal BB's.
Wow. And I assume it's a bad idea to start Airsoft as a Sniper?
