Thanks for the idea. I plan on getting a TSD M16A4 if they aren't bad. Then I may add the box mag, or just buy an LMG in the future.

Tickle your fancy?
16Bit, I doubt the reliability of this gun, but

Mr picky picky doesn't want it modeled after a "auto shotgun." The real Saiga-12 is semi-auto.

Get the M58A then.
Well, it's foreign!!!
And anyone know if TSD is any good?
For shotguns, yes.
Yeah but nobody likes it when you take an M4, stick a box mag on it, and call it a SAW.
Most milsim events that allow SAW's require you to have a dedicated platform as well, not just an assault rifle with a large magazine and bipod.
I remember the Orange Shirt event that was hosted here a couple weeks back had that requirement. I think the maximum was 50 rounds per magazine, unless you had a SAW, and that had to be a dedicated SAW, like a M249, RPD, etc.

What about their M16A4?
Sportline or what?
I didn't know TSD had Sportsline

I talked to a friend of mine, he has that exact gun. His main problem is slight barrel wobble on it, other than that he likes it. Notice how it's not set to arrive 'till the end of December though.
I have a bunch of old non-functioning guns. Mostly from when I used to buy from Sporting Goods stores when I first started. Two are electric and two are spring. Going to take the fuckers apart and salvage parts.

This should have probably been in chat thread.
GUISE PROBLEM
Is 80 dollars for an echo 1 mp5 with 3 mags worth the risk? Seeing as how this deal is on ebay, my inner jew is jumping around at this deal but I'm hesitant.

I suggest no.

Alright, that's the only problem I read in reviews. My local store carries SRC, so I'm sure they'll have them. I guess that's my gun. If I want to be a Marksman, I can get some optics, and if I want to be a Rifleman I can leave it be.
Edit: now I'm looking at A&K Mk43 like Time bomb has, very sexy, and I may be able to get the moola for it.
Guys, I can buy 5 plastic mid caps and a speed loader for $25 or 6 metal mid caps for $42. I can't help but pass up the great deal on the metal ones but it doesn't come with a speed loader. I might have to work out a deal with the guy.

No, try to steer clear of snipers for your first purchase.
A nice pistol then?
A AEG if you can afford it.
What plastic are TM made from?
What plastic are TM made from?
-scratch that- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_Marui wiki says ABS
ABS plastic. You cannot go wrong with a TM. Some people like to bitch that "YOU DON'T GET ENOUGH FOR THE PRICE" but I swear to go TM will last forever, they're like the Cadillac's of airsoft.
The bodies are purely made from plastic because it's illegal to make guns too close to the real thing in Japan, it doesn't mean they're cheap.
Straight out of the box TM are ace internally but externally they're a bit meh.
I never understood that. I have no problem with the externals, what's wrong with the externals? They're ABS shells, yeah but other then that there is nothing wrong with them. Especially if you buy guns that aren't typically 'full metal' then you don't even notice.
Ok, thanks. I learned that ABS is very sturdy, so I'm no longer wary of em. I realized I have enough cash for one, so I'm thinking of it.
To quell the OCD in me, what are the differences between the M16a2 and a4, besides carrying handles?
One of the biggest reasons why TM's last so long is because they have really low FPS (280). The internals are generally pretty nice but as Deathwig said, the externals are not that great. They are also pretty expensive for what you get. I wouldn't buy another TM gun unless it was another HiCapa, those things are fucking awesome.
