I never understood that. I have no problem with the externals, what's wrong with the externals? They're ABS shells, yeah but other then that there is nothing wrong with them. Especially if you buy guns that aren't typically 'full metal' then you don't even notice.
TM externals are generally creaky as fuck.
Well I know the real-steel have different fire modes between the A2 and A4 but I don't think that Airsoft one does. I actually have a owners/training manual for M16 A1 and a2 from 1989.

I've owned one for three years and this is the first I've even heard of that.
Ok, M16a2s are abundant, but the OcD in me argues it's not period correct.
Maybe a nice makarov pistol?
Maybe a nice makarov pistol?
thats an air pistol, not airsoft look at the calibre its 0.177" airsoft uses 6mm bb's not 0.177" pellets
Edit: so if you shot that at anyone not only would they be pretty badly hurt but i dont think Mr. Police-Man-Officer would be too happy either
Hey guys, I'm gonna try and make a battery sling and I was wondering if this battery will fit in this pouch.
I was going to get one of the pouches you put on your stock for a battery but it's sold out in OD and the pistol pouch is cheaper.
Alright, sorry for all the questions, this is just my best source of information.

Also, anyone know if the 'tim' code for ASGI is reusable?
Yes, all coupons on ASGI are reusable.
Anyway; Not the same sized battery, but it's as close as I could get to give you an idea. These pouches are about the same size as the one pictured so at the very least it'll be reference.
I even broke out the HD camera for you.

What kind? M4, AK, AUG, G3, what?
Also, what FPS limitations?
What type of battery?
Etc. Help us narrow it down for you.

M series or a black AK
380-410 FPS max
I don't know much about batteries all the guns I've looked at have a 9.6v battery.

Don't even bother with the crap charger they give you.
Bah, someone needs to make an airsoft Makarov. I'd love to get one of those.

Are you serious? TM is notorious for having creaky plastic. What gun do you have?
Are you serious? TM is notorious for having creaky plastic. What gun do you have?
Only the FAMAS and the M16/M4 are famous for that, the other models are rock solid.

The TM AUG and G36 is pretty creaky as well.
Guys, I can buy 5 plastic mid caps and a speed loader for $25 or 6 metal mid caps for $42. I can't help but pass up the great deal on the metal ones but it doesn't come with a speed loader. I might have to work out a deal with the guy.
Go for the metal. I spent $100 on 6. The price still makes me cringe, but they feel great and I've heard nothing bad about them (haven't owned them long enough to say anything about reliability), as compared to the plastic series that doesn't work in all guns.
