My CA M15 is still going, even after I threw it around and dropped it for three years. It even survived my fucking around with the gearbox, which I still need to work on. I don't think I could ever get another M4/M16 that's not Classic Army. I love the metal body, the fiber hand guards and the full stock I have on it. The Trademarks are a beautiful touch as well and I just generally love it.
Are the Sportsline good as well?
Never mind, I take that back. Mixed reviews, for a first rifle it's pretty good.
Anyone recommend a good M16a1?
I know JG makes one but I don't know about the quality.
How would I go about weathering an AUG? Just make scratches everywhere?
For me, G&G makes the best M16-pattern rifles. Even their "affordable (combat machine) series" is quite a bit better than most other brands. Well the problem with G&G is I can't get a battery and extra mag without breaking my budget. I've been told they have the best Sportsline?
I've never heard a bad thing about their Combat Machine.
I've never heard a bad thing about their Combat Machine.
Me neither. It's nice and inexpensive. I have actually heard that the piston head was made of a weak metal or plastic or something, but that might just be the CAS version we get in Canada. [editline]03:39PM[/editline]
Well the problem with G&G is I can't get a battery and extra mag without breaking my budget. The internals are extremely reliable, and the gun itself feels fucking great.
If I ever need an M4/M16 cheaply then I'm definitely going with G&G. But Classic Armies Pro-Series has the best externals and internals in my opinion.
So I decided to get a G&G Sportsline M4. But I need a set of mags as well, a battery and googles. Are all mags good or are there no-nos? And what battery should I get?
http://www.ebairsoft.com/1s03-military-rifle-scope-p-1934.html
Will that fit on a G&G RK-104?
Will that fit on a G&G RK-104?
Man you would rather a craptastic RDS than ironsights...
Fake Kobra is bad, Get a real one
What's wrong with a fake one? It works and it's way cheaper.
Will that fit on a G&G RK-104?
Yes it will but don't waste your money on it. Get a real steel one.
Yes it will but don't waste your money on it. Get a real steel one.
Why? Aren't those way more expensive?
Thats like saying, why can't I go buy a $30 airsoft gun instead of buying a $200 airsoft gun? The cheapo one won't last. The RS Kobra is $200.
Okay then what's a good sight I can get one?
He refuses to spend $200. The replica honestly doesn't seem too bad, even if it breaks in a few months. http://arniesairsoft.co.uk/news2/7770 Start watching at 5:00. What he says basically before that that the externals are okay, the paint on some places is thin, with wear it will scratch, the windage and elevation adjustment plate cover doesn't snap in correctly, and that the sun hood is flimsy rubber instead of hard plastic/whatever. See for yourself. What he has it on at 5:10 is for indoor, with very little ghosting. For outdoor, it looks like some minor ghosting, see 6:25. I think it'll work, and I know you'll never get doofus to spend $200 on the real Kobra. [editline]04:58PM[/editline] The "clamp" system of getting it onto the AK is a tad ridiculous though, and the paint is veeeeery thin...
You're right I'm not spending $200 on an RDS. ANd I've never seen an AK with the mount on the side of it like the guy's did on the video that the sight goes on, though. What is that?
:sigh:
what?
Most of these cheap Kobra sights have really bad ghosting. [editline]05:35PM[/editline]
what?
AK-pattern rifles use a completely different mount for rails and shit. I think it's called a dovetail mount.
It hurts to say but I'm kind of want to get an AK. S-Stupid Commie AK.. it's.. it's not like I love or anything!
Embrace the AK, let the Kalashnikov guide you.
I like the wood furniture. Also, I have like six hi-cap AK mags laying around for some reason.
I love wooden furnishings. Plus, the AK's are all sexy as hell.
I love wooden furnishings. Plus, the AK's are all sexy as hell.
Fucking this.
