They called it MP44 at first cause Hitler didn't want another Rifle because he loved the Kar98k, which he used in WW1. However, after he discovered it and fired it, he allowed them to produce it, and it was renamed STG-44.

He never melded any springs, that would kill the gun. He's just a shady scammer. The AGM MP40 can be bought from airsoftmegastore.com They're alright guys. Sure, there's a way to get a WWII German Cap. It would include illegal methods or a repro but it's possible.

I dont think so? I asked a dealer friend of mine just now and he said he can still get the STENs and MP40s through his wholesaler.

Though maybe that's just what the wholesaler has left in stock.

The JG one isn't even correct looking anyway except for the handguard. The best M16A1 I know of that actually looks proper is made by CA. You might have to wait a bit for it to come back in stock though.

That and it has a fixed carrying handle while the JG's is removable. Or maybe the other way around, I'm not sure. Both of them have incorrect carrying handles and receivers though.
