It's been raining every day here for two weeks.
It's been raining every day here for two weeks.
In my country, it rains 335 days a year. I love the tropics.
Seems like I'll be doing the same, damn rain never ends. Anything I need to know about GBB maintenance by the way? I got money for my birthday and bought one.
Clean it once every two weeks. (or when it's dirty, if you skirmish)Also, a GBB is pretty much useless in winter times unless you find a way to keep the mags warm. Also happy birthday :buddy:
Alright, will do. I live close to the equator, so any chance of cold weather is out of the window. Thanks for the greeting.
Ok cool. It looks like I'm gonna have amazing gear and an awesome first gun.

It rains like 10 days a year here :smug: And for 64k, I'd say go with KWA. They're full metal and their plastic is stronger, as well as higher FPS, because of some restrictions in Japan. The Marui ones, well you can call it a Marui but IMO KWA GBB pistols are just better. The only problem is that the new NS2 system has few upgrade/spare parts at this point, and it shoots a little hot for most CQB pistols ops. Oh and I found out KWA is actually the OEM for KSC. KSC still sells Glocks but they're OEM'd by someone else I think. I don't know if they're made to KWA's specs or what.
It rains for 5 minutes at a time here.
At the start of summer it rained every day here. Usually it's really dry all summer but we get thunderstorms every few weeks. Then in the winter it goes down to like -40 Celsius and we get two feet of snow. But no matter what I'm chairsofting because I have nobody to play airsoft with. School starts Monday and I haven't played airsoft once this summer.
Someone on the local airsoft forums is selling this: "KWA GBB Glock 18-semi/full auto-(3) mags included---$100" Should I do it?
Yes. Inquiry about the status of the mags and whatnot, but if all is good then abso-fucking-lutely.
That's what I thought.
I'm thinking about making an Australian loadout now. Does anyone know what vest they use? I was thinking about using a coyote CIRAS and putting Auscam pouches on it but I don't know if that would look good or not.
Pm'ed the dude [editline]10:31PM[/editline] Automerge :argh:
YES. The guy is going to hold the KWA Glock for me until I get my paycheck and he is going to send me pictures. Success :buddy: He did say he has used it in 10 games though but the gun and mags are in great condition, anything to worry about?
Would a Surplus Store have Helmet Covers?
Some may.
I may get a GBB for plinking/airsofting purposes, how big a disadvantage is it over AEGs with hi caps and whatnot even though I'm a marksman?
I may get a GBB for plinking/airsofting purposes, how big a disadvantage is it over AEGs with hi caps and whatnot even though I'm a marksman?
AEG first, GBB when you have nothing else to spend on or play CQB and engage people regularly at less than 15 feet. A decent AEG will be the same as a decent GBB, and the AEG will easily outperform the GBB.

Ah, then I wouldn't know. Didn't recognize you from your avatar :buddy:
I stand by KWA. WE-techs are also nice.
I prefer KWAs because they make the best stock guns, imo.
Same here, Borneo Island is right on the equator. where do you live?
The Philippines. Also, I got a WE 1911 Tactical. It's almost exactly the same as the one Cubeman has/had. It came in a hi-capa box though.
Anyone here own a Gorka? Considering getting a set for colder OP's.
The Philippines. Also, I got a WE 1911 Tactical. It's almost exactly the same as the one Cubeman has/had. It came in a hi-capa box though.
Well, thats close. They allow airsoft in Philippines? Do they have airosft parks there?
It's not just allowed, it's huge in the phillipines.
Anyone here own a Gorka? Considering getting a set for colder OP's.
3! They're great, hardwearing canvas cotton, a bit like dickies work trousers but less cardboard feeling. Gotta layer up under them though, they're not winter clothing, but they do keep in heat.
Man, in Malaysia its banned. We have to play on private lands away from the city and if possible civilization. We tried to legalize it but our asshole Minister of Sports and Recreation wont sign the papers. Only one signature left before legalizing airsoft. :(
What a dick.
