No, I'm pretty sure that gun is regarded as the best of beginner AKs around here, and is often mentioned by name, Dboys Aks-74u. Don't know about the site, but afaik the gun is a rock solid buy.
Yeah, I'm planning on getting that AK anyway, I was asking about the site because as Venom said, they look shady. I haven't ordered anything from Gunners, they also look kind of shady.

CRW is legit, I bought my TSD M1014 there.
The reason stuff is so cheap is that they are based in Hong Kong, so they charge ridiculous shipping costs to North America.

I'm not a beginner and I use one and love it! For such a small rifle it has pretty nice range and accuracy.

How many BBs should I buy with my first AEG?
Totally depends on who you are. Some guys go through a ton, some don't. For example- Op last weekend at a local field: I went through a little less than two highcaps and was doing pretty well. However, I play as a DM and only shoot semi (my handgun got a good workout inside buildings that day). On the other hand, a friend I was with went through more than a bag of BB's (though in fairness, a lot of that was coming from his SAW).
EDIT: That said, get a bag. It should last you a day, and then you'll know how much you're going to need in the future.
Double Edit: On Topic- Recommend me a helmet. I'm thinking a MICH replica, but I don't know anything about the 2000/2001/2002 differences, etc. Also, Helmet Lights and NVG mounts, that kinda stuff. I'm planning on starting to build a helmet set up, but I don't really know anything about it yet- advice, facepunch?

If you are just starting, buy more. I notice that newbies shoot alot more. I went to a 24 hour game and used around 600 bb's, it really depends on if there are ammo limits and your trigger discipline.

Depends on the length of the OP, but probably. I know I could go through most games with less, personally.
Most games I can use less than 500 bbs. Then again, I play mostly CQB (So cal doesn't really have outdoor fields that aren't MOUT unless you're willing to drive an hour or two into the desert)
A 5K bag should be enough for you Kman. I usually go through that much in a day's skirmishing in CQB.
