Yeah, unless you want your SR25 to have an M4 length barrel and retractable stock.
I put one of my spare retractable stocks on my full length SR 25 and it looked pretty cool. I would have to make a battery bag, but it looked cool.
an SPR conversion is easy, an SR-25 conversion would basically require a whole new gun.

My A&K SPR was pretty good too but the hop up was completely broken, the spring was left compressed for months at a time and when I tried to get the gearbox out I ended up cutting the wires somehow. So I just sold all the internals to one of my friends as spare parts and put in the internals of a JG M16 and replaced the SPR handguard with a standard M16 handguard. It looked really good as an SPR, it's a shame I can't put it back together because to get the SPR front end off I had to cut the imitation gas tube.
This was my SPR. No optics because I used it as an AR, not a DMR.
