So they're Saigas?
Well, if you really wanna get anal about it, it's a Saiga-12. There's also Saiga-20s, Saiga-410s, Saiga 7.62x39s, Saiga 5.56x45s, Saiga 5.45x39s, and Saiga 7.62x51s, but who's counting?
Sega
I just had to lol at all of these.

Do I actually need to buy a Smart CHarger?
Yes.
Why?
So you don't over-charge your batteries?
Ok, I was just wondering.

And for eyewear, do you need googles, or can Shooting Glasses work?

matter of preference, i swap between a set of bolle goggles and some ESS shooting glasses. i prefer glasses though because i always feel a bit stupid with goggles on but no helmet.
also in other news if anyone remembers those "Swiss One Crackerjack" glasses are airsoft proof i took them to the game today and shot at them, they didnt break yay! now ive got a spare pair of glasses

Shit, I overcharged mine.
By about 12 hours....
And it lasts longer.
I overcharged mine by three and they pooped out
When I play airsoft I just charge my battery for a few hours on a trickle charger and then I borrow my friends smart charger to finish charging it.
I once over charged my battery by about 36 hours. Surprised it didnt burn the house down. It actually worked fine for about a week before the motor started to melt the plastic pistol grip and spew smoke through the heatsink at the bottom. New battery solved that issue.

Wait, so you forgot about it for a whole day and a half? How does that work?
I get distracted.
There has to be something more than just getting distracted.
What smart chargers do you all use actually?
I should buy one myself, usually however I get to my local site early to help set up now so I usually charge it up there.
So Combat Machine, Plastica, or Ares M4 as a first AEG?
Combat machine or Plastica.
Why should I rule out the ARES?
What is the difference between the G&G GR-16 A2 and the G&G GR16 A3
Basically, the A2 has a fixed carry handle (it's part of the upper) and the A3 has a rail on the top and a removeable carry handle.
Even though the A3 in real life also has a fixed carry handle.
So for my next AEG it's
Combat Machine M4A1
G&G Proline GR16 M4
ICS M4A1
CA M15A4
VFC E-series M4
G&P M4 SOPMOD
Basically anything under $300.
An AK would be fine too, I was mainly looking at M4s.

Are the SRC XM8's any good?
Are the SRC XM8's any good?
I heard they're meh. I wish a awesome airsoft company like G&G would make a XM8, I'd be on that so fast.
Same here. Does anyone have the G&G F2000 in stock?

Probably overseas. I've seen 2 people use those at CQB City yesterday. Fuck they're big rifles, they look big even on a guy who's roughly 5'9. Saw some small skinny kid with one too, looked like he could barely hold it, reaching really far out just to get a hold of the grip.
They're still so fun looking though.
