I need some help with batteries, can someone give me some pointers on them? I'm aiming for the G&G GR16 Blowback M4A1, but I have no idea what battery to get for it, even after reading around. Thanks for helping in advance.
Look for the letter combination Ni-Mh.

Anything by G&P or Intellect. You will need a 9.6 nunchuck, butterfly, or mini battery.
Anyone know where I can get a MP5 magazine, my old one is all fucked up.
It wont wind the bbs into the main tube thing
Should I discharge my NI-MH battery? I have it charged, it's a huge 9.6 so I'm not sure. I'm doing it now, since I figure it won't hurt but I just want to be sure.

NI-MH batteries dont need discharging. NI-CDs do.
Its better to store them charged in fact.

tru fax
I knew Ni-Cds do, but I wasn't positive on NiMh so I wanted to check.

Is there a way to unwind a high cap mag?
slide back the spring at the top, it should unwind itself
you mean the thing that keeps the bbs in the tube? I did that and it didnt do anything. like, i think the spring is bent or somthing
btw i have no idea how these things work
On the top there should be 3 elements. First is the hatch that should either slide or hinge open, that's where you put the BBs. The other is this big hole, BB's come out there after you wind the bottom. Captain obvious to the rescue, just clearing up.
The other part is situated somewhere directly adjacent to the nozzle that the BBs come out of. It's usually a spring loaded lever that when you push open, if there are BBs in the mag, all the BBs will fly out. If there are no BBs in the magazine there is no tension on the spring(s) inside the Hicap.
Underlined is probably the only thing you needed to know.
One of my friends wants to sell me a completely stock Echo 1 P90 with a midcap and a high cap, a red dot for the P90 and a Condor commando chest rig in woodland for $250 but one of my friends has a KWA M4 that he doesn't use that I could probably convince him to sell for a similar price because I already have mags and I don't need a chest rig really because my combat jacket has mag pouches and two big pockets. Which should I go for?
KWA M4. It's a beautiful thing.
KWA M4. It's a beautiful thing.
That's probably what I'm most likely going to get, over time I can slowly make it more of a personal gun for me and use it as a base to put together an IDF loadout, one of the loadouts I really want to make.
KWA, trust me, from someone who has owned a P90, as badass as it looks, it's impractical. Those mags would never fit in a Commando chest-rig, hell unless you get special purpose MOLLE pouches they won't fit into anything else.
Yeah P90's are sexy but ineffective in combat because of their huge mags as far as I've seen.

As small as an MP5 but with an M4 length barrel, a kickass hop unit and 300rd hicaps that don't need winding? Sure, they're ineffective. ;)

Ineffective was probably the wrong word to use haha. They're effective but the ungainly mags make them difficult to use to their full potential. You could get the M4 mag conversion but that makes the gun look really stupid IMO.

Yeah.
The hicaps aren't as bad as people make them out to be, just make sure to take good care of them and you're golden. I never had any fail on me when I used my P90 weekly. They don't rattle either, which is awesome.
Identity, are you ever going to go down to Orbital?
I wanna hear about the turnout from someone who's gone. Though it's like not even 10 minutes from my house, I have no airsoft stuff at all so I can't go myself.

Should I spend an upward of 40-50 odd dollars getting an H-harness/battle belt molle rig for carrying my shit
OR
Spend around 30-40 dollars getting a m-1956 rig.
It's down to those 2 choices for me because I like ventilation and not having heat stroke.
Psh, people overrate how hot gear gets. If you drink water, and you have decent gear, it's going to breath well enough. I ran my CIRAS all summer and it was frequently 80s-90s

I'll be down at Orbital in a few weeks. Last time I talked to the guy who runs the games, he had a turn out of 130 people. And that's usually the average.
Don't get me started on the fucking heat, man.

What about the heat, man?
It SUCKS
What heat? I live in St. Petersburg, and it's been really nice and cool out, especially at night. It's supposed to be 59F out tomorrow.
In fact I have my window open right now. Natural A/C.

What exactly is this? I want to get one to mount on my MOLLE vest, either at an angle or 90 degree horizontal. I know it's an injected molded holster and a MOLLE attachment gadget. Where can I get this affordable for a Glock Model 23? Both the holster and the MOLLE connection (If I can get a package that'd be best)
