Well how do you think you'll wanna play? Run 'n' gun? Providing cover fire? Or a DM type deal?
Well, I am a noob, so I don't think I have the patience for a DMR role, though I do like it. I like being on the front line, or being stealthy and then ambushing my foes. I'd be playing field games, so the only limit on the gun's size is that I don't want it to be like <10 pounds or so. I like laying down suppressing fire, or Rifling.
I've yet to play an actual game too, don't worry.
I'd say you'd be better off getting an AR pattern gun. You just strike me as that kinda bro. Get the Combat Machine, but if you absolutely must get an AK, get the Dboys RK-03 if you want an AK-74s or the RK-01 for an AK-74su

Well, the only thing that drives me to Aks is that everyone seems to have an AR. I like them, but everybody seems to have them. Otherwise I'd get one.

Most good quality rifles are. If it's the Red Star, then someone on another forum told me all the Echo 1 Red Stars he has definetly do not dissapoint him.

While everyone is looking at this thread, should I run an ALICE gear for holding all my shit or a MOLLE battle belt setup. I plan on using the CYMA M14 if that helps. I don't like the idea of a vest so much so I'd prefer a harness and belt thing. It seems like it'd benefit me more.

I know that AKs won't look well with all black SWAT gear, but I think an all metal/black plastic AK74 would look better than a wood one. Besides, it's only $20 more.
I'm more partial to the first one.

I use the pre-ALICE webbing due to using a Vietnam loadout. I have used MOLLE and liked it because its quicker and feels more natural. The modularity is nice to. I'm probably going to get me some MOLLE gear soon.
