I would recommend the AK since they are superior to pathetic baby Imperialist weapons, but a AK would look ridiculous with SWAT gear. Get the G&G.

I don't really want an MP5. Maybe a UMP, but I am leaning towards assault rifles (even though the AK74 is compactish, still a carbine though). I'd rather get the full size G36 with integrated scope but those are too expensive. If they go down in price by December sure.

Yeah, unless stated otherwise, all batteries are compatible. Though, you need to know connector size, mini connectors go with mini, small with small, large with large etc.

Black works with everything but ACU. Tan and OD are next in versatility.
