Colors, as someone asked before- in terms of going with BDU's, I honestly think CB or OD are your two best bets, followed by regular tan and RG. Black kinda-sorta works with most things, but not that well.
I'll get tan I guess. And Samus. Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch auch.
I hate CQB-R weapons like that. Friend of mine had a DBoys version that sucked a flaccid cock when it came to field games. Then again, he's an idiot. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is this: Don't buy it. Go with your first G&G option.
This is my only G&G option. If you are talking about the M4 with free red dot sight I'm not getting that one. I'd rather get the Echo 1 Stag.
This is my only G&G option. If you are talking about the M4 with free red dot sight I'm not getting that one. I'd rather get the Echo 1 Stag.
Why?
Why?
Wait are we talking about the same gun? The only G&G was the M4 CQB-R. [editline]13th October 2010[/editline] Actually, forget this whole ordeal. I'll still bookmark the guns somewhere though. The reason why I am doing this is because in 2 months the out of stock guns I want will probably be back in stock. At least I learned that I would need $350ish, stay away from King Arms mags, and get a 9.6v instead of the 8.4v. Thanks guys. Sorry if I annoyed anyone. I'll probably check back when I have the money or late November.
Feel free to ask questions anytime, glad to help.
Feel free to ask questions anytime, glad to help.
Yeah. Maybe I might get more than $350 and be able to look at better guns.
It's down to RPK vs. AR.
RPK's wood is made from solidified Romanian man cum. Don't do it.
go to bed young lad
RPK's wood is made from solidified Romanian man cum. Don't do it.
Would you rather he becomes another AR user? Also former AR user about to convert to Kalshnikovs right here.
Also former AR user about to convert to Kalshnikovs right here.
I'm proud of you. [editline]14th October 2010[/editline]
Based off of your review Samus, can I hope it will last me a while?
Do you think the Dboy M16A4 is any good? I want a decent loaner weapon. [editline]13th October 2010[/editline] And I really need help with this next one; SERPA I want a new Holster, I want one that's modular so I can change it for my needs. SERPA fits the bill, it has a nice draw and a slick profile. I can get it for my belt, duty belt, MOLLE or a thigh rig. My only problem, I don't know WHERE I can pick one up (And the accessories) for a Glock Model 23 in Foliage Green, Coyote Brown or OD. I can only find black, and black doesn't work with ANYTHING I have. Basically, I want to find the right color to match all my loadouts. (ACU, OD, MARPAT and Coyote Brown)
You can order from Blackhawk themselves. Or you can do what I did, get it somewhere else online (real SERPA and Paddle plus fake dropleg and belt mount which are still excellent quality for <$40) and then spray it a new color.
From what I thought I knew, you could only get Blackhawk from third party retailers. They don't sell directly. Also, where online is what I want to know. [editline]14th October 2010[/editline] Also semi-related; is this place a good dealer? I want to get my Softshell from them with free shipping. http://www.airarmory.com/shopping/ Still fighting between Foliage Green and OD.
Also semi-related; is this place a good dealer? I want to get my Softshell from them with free shipping. http://www.airarmory.com/shopping/ Still fighting between Foliage Green and OD.
Buy the real deal, dont support some Chinese shit company that rips off a small American business that actually makes good shit.
What are you referring too? Buying the real Tad-Gear softshell? Hell no. The Condor Soft Shell is the exact same thing at a fraction of the price, $85. The Tad-Gear Softshell is a rip-off at $300. I don't care who made it when they overcharge that much for it. I'm not made of money.
What are you referring too? Buying the real Tad-Gear softshell? Hell no. The Condor Soft Shell is the exact same thing at a fraction of the price, $85. The Tad-Gear Softshell is a rip-off at $300.
Bah hahahahahaha What the hell are you smoking. The TAD gear version is going to be infinitely higher quality than anything coming out of China. Pretty much my thoughts:
A small company like TAD that invests deeply in research and development is an innovator. Furthermore, a production ethic that uses high quality materials and manufacturing is rapidly being snuffed out in lieu of mass produced, fall apart in a year cheap junk. Much of what has brought me to EDCF and other gear forums is the presence of artisans producing quality, last a lifetime equipment. Please feel free to look through pictures of my EDC gear posted on this and other forums. Each piece I can tell a story about, much of it has come from people I have met personally or whom I have followed the development of their items through the forums. Even if you do not care about the impact on an innovator of having the results of their investment in research and development stolen (ask Jon about his experience designing batteries...), one should think about the long term impact on themselves of undercutting innovators. Maybe this company will decide there is no point in research and development if their ideas are just stolen or their customer base would rather spend less for a lower quality product. My father used to tell me "you get the behavior you reward". I for one want to reward the innovators and encourage them to keep trying to make higher quality products. If another company arises to compete, all the better, but that competition should be based on innovation, not theft. I'll say it again. Rip offs suck.
Now Ill admit that I own a Chinese clone AEG, but I also have owned 3 (and still own 2) TM AEGs. If people keep supporting the cheap shit rip-offs, the high-quality companies that actually care about their customers and make well-built stuff are going to disappear in a sea of crappy, poorly made knock offs.
This goes back to the fact I can barely afford gas, much less a $300 jacket. The thing could be lined with gold, but it's out of my price range.
This goes back to the fact I can barely afford gas, much less a $300 jacket. The thing could be lined with gold, but it's out of my price range.
Im in college, I pay for my gas (and other shit now that Im out of house). I guess I would rather save up for something that was essentially hand built and of bomb-proof quality and American made than "get it now" and have some cheap crappy thing that's not going to last a years worth of daily use and was mass produced by some Chinese company that has no warranty or custom care whatsoever. [editline]14th October 2010[/editline] To me it comes down to supporting business practices that you like. Not a huge fan of blatantly ripping off ridiculously small, highly innovative (TAD employs what, like ~30 people?) companies, making products overseas, and then not standing behind the product in any way, shape, or form.
You realize that Airsoft suppressors don't really do anything other than possibly hide extra barrel length? You can probably make the suppressor yourself.
I don't want the suppressor for it to be silent, I want it because to me pistols with silencers are really bad ass (blame splinter cell), and also because it closely resembles the real deal. It's quiet (as a pistol with a silencer should be), has recoil, all in all, badass.
GBBs aren't quiet.
Bah hahahahahaha What the hell are you smoking. The TAD gear version is going to be infinitely higher quality than anything coming out of China.
Just saying, you know that some of TAD's products are now coming out of China, too, right?
Just saying, you know that some of TAD's products are now coming out of China, too, right?
The plot thickens even more.
GBBs aren't quiet.
In relation to real guns they are.
Just saying, you know that some of TAD's products are now coming out of China, too, right?
I would be REALLY surprised if any of their clothing (except maybe the beanies or something) was coming out of China. They wouldn't be releasing it in such heavily quality controlled batches (as they always have) otherwise. [editline]14th October 2010[/editline] Ill bet its the T-shirts at the bottom actually: http://www.tripleaughtdesign.com/Apparel/Shirts
