I'm getting the cyma m14, but airsoft gi is kind of making it hard to call in and confirm the order for my mom.

Email.
We have been and they give us times but never call or answer the phone.
I'll do a review for you once I get my hands on it since you showed me the vietnam gear. Though I'm still not sure where to buy the full M1967 LBE.
I'm thinking of the cyma M14 or this: http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/KALASH_DBOYS_AK74_S_Metal_Gearbox_AEG_p/rk-03-wood.htm any suggestions, tips or anything about these guns I should know before I pick?
Either of those are fine, but don't buy from there

I've bought from there before, I haven't had any problems, what makes you say that I shouldn't buy there? If I can find the same gun on ASGI, then i'll definitely buy from there.

Ask them if you can buy just the roll and not the gun
I want to know, would it be worth it/work to put a foregrip on my CYMA M14?

YOU DO NOT DEFILE THE M14 WITH TACTICAL ACCESSORIES
/caps
EDIT: Either go all the way with an EBR or keep it like it is.

Trust me i hate the tacticool shit on weapons, but i think it would be useful.
I just want to know if it would work with the M14 form factor.
No. It would look hideous, and would benefit you very little. It's not like the M14 is a CQB weapon anyway.
The point of a vertical foregrip is to make your shooting posture more natural by making both of your hands in basically the same position. By having your right hand in a horizontal grip and your left in a vertical grip you'll probably just make your wrists hurt.
Probably wouldn't work very well.

Ok thanks. One more question.
What would be better, bungee two point or three point sling?
3 point

Three point. I've never even heard of a bungee two point.
Three point. I've never even heard of a bungee two point.
Its a two point with bungee type material that dissipates the effect of gravity on heavier guns so your sling doesn't break.
I like three-points. Although for a CQB weapon I think I'd prefer a two-point, I'd definitely get a three point on an M14.
I prefer one point slings on AR and AK style weapons.
I don't use a sling because I'm a real man.

It's airsoft, you're not shooting 100 yards, you're shooting like 20 yards at best. Don't put a foregrip on an m14, It'll look silly.
20 yards at best
I generally engage targets farther out than 60 feet, especially with an M14 :downs:

More like 150-200 feet usually.

Still, you probably don't need a vertical fore grip for that :v:
I don't know, I could see a vertical grip or even an AFG coming in handy on my WE M14. For one if I have it in the right place it will keep my fingers away from the moving bolt along the right side of the gun, which I hear hurts like a bitch if you get hit by it. Second it might actually help in controlling the recoil, which can affect you when you're popping off a lot of rounds on semi auto fast.
Still, I would get the EBR kit first before I did any of that. Saw some guy attach a vertical grip straight to his standard M14 and it looked weird as hell. The red tiger stripe paint job didn't help it either.
I have like $330 to spend on airsoft.
So it comes down to this for my next gun:
AEG's: A&K Masada
Dboys AKS-74U
ICS MP5
VFC E-series M4
ICS M4A1
ICS SIG552
TSD tactical/SRC G36C
I was also considering a gas blowback rifle. For a KAC PDW, should I go WE-tech or GHK?
I really don't want a generic Armalite type gun. I like the look of the PDW, it's familiar yet also unique. I'm really thinking the Masada but its size may be a problem for a small guy like me. I've heard great things about the ICS MP5, and since I mainly do CQB this and the G36 are looking like good choices.
The Dboys AKS-74un is a good choice, I have one and really like it. The WE KAC PDW is really nice, I held one at todays game. They feel really solid.
The main problem I have with it is the low mag capacity and the fact that new mags are $40. I really don't want another standard Armalite. I was looking at the G&G RK-Beta since they don't make an AKS-74U and I can't find their AKMS in stock, but the full stock is kind of a turn-off since it's such a compact gun anyway. Plus, rails.
