A couple of my friends have these CO2 powered revolvers that shoot like 400 FPS. One of them also has a KWA M4 but uses his revolver way more.
WinGun or something like that?
Looking into getting my first "real" airsoft gun, looking at the ARES M4A1 (http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6791). Local shop has it for 250 with an extra mag and a year warranty. Would this be a good purchase, or would there be a better alternative?
my friend swears by them, they have one of the biggest ranges of aftermarket parts, they are one of the best companies, its full metal so if you wrap it round a tree it should still work, and mags are readily available as both Ares and Star mags work with them. edit: whoops i wrote Arse instead of Ares bahahah

Probably going to pick one up in the upcoming weeks along with a myriad of other airsoft-related items.
I hate how these things are almost as expensive, if not, more expensive, then the real thing.
ARES is hit or miss AFAIK. My friend had a ARES/STAR SCAR-L and he was always fixing it (although he has a notorious reputation of breaking indestructible guns including TM guns).
I hate how these things are almost as expensive, if not, more expensive, then the real thing.
Only if you find, like, an old AK style weapon on the black market. And MAYBE the really expensive Systemas. But for 95% of airsoft guns, that is untrue.

Mosin Nagants and WASRs don't count.

Well doesn't make AEGs
The JG no doubt. Well doesn't make AEGs
Doesn't make good ones or doesn't make them period? And, thanks. I found a tune up kit for the JG p90 so I could probably get some more FPS out of it.
Is he the one who broke your Marui FAMAS?
If you can break a TM Famas you have talent.
Is he the one who broke your Marui FAMAS?
Yup.

If they do, they suck; Well is one of the worst brands out there.
So, I'm finally going to get some grenades for Room Clearing. I have to picked out and I need to decide and it's really hard because I hear Pros and Cons for them both. I'm also open to other options. AI Tornado Impact Grenade: http://www.airarmory.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=619&name=Airsoft%20Innovations%20Tornado%20Impact%20Grenade Thunder B 'Sound Flash' Grenades: http://www.kastwayairsoft.com/Products/Thunder-B-Player-Package__TB12.aspx
I've gotten out by a AI Tornade Timed Grenade, in a field game, no less. So I can vouch for the AI Tornado Grenades. Haven't had any experience with the impact grenades, or the Thunder B though. [editline]7th November 2010[/editline] Oh also, how hard would it be to switch out a lower receiver on an AKM? Mine has the plastic receiver, per canadian-regulations, and I'm curious if it'd be too hard to switch it out for a full-metal one. It's starting to wear down around the mag well because of how ~extreme~ my reloading is. Also because my mags are metal.

BB grenades are useless outdoors and often have issues.
some asshole threw a tornado grenade back at me after i threw it at him. landed right next to me and exploded. [editline]8th November 2010[/editline] those thunder B ones are LOUD as fuck though.

Pop the gearbox out and put it in the metal lower receiver then put the rest of the parts back on.

Yeah it's really easy to do niks, I've done it before.
Anybody know anything about this gun? http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=7284
Heard nothing but good things about the G&G CM series. Not sure about that exact one, but the Raiders are great, from what I've seen.
Heard nothing but good things about the G&G CM series. Not sure about that exact one, but the Raiders are great, from what I've seen.
Thanks, Airsoft GI is having some free shipping event so I'm deciding to go past my budget and get this baby.
You can't really go wrong with a G&G.
Thanks, Airsoft GI is having some free shipping event so I'm deciding to go past my budget and get this baby.
Airsoft GI always has free shipping on orders over $100.
I <3 my G4-A5. Have yet to use it in a game though. Though I'm sure it will dominate through my extreme, dick mitten like capabilities.
Airsoft GI always has free shipping on orders over $100.
I don't really order from them so I thought it was an event.
I want a new AEG and I've narrowed my choices down between a KWA M4 RIS and a CA SCAR-L. I'm leaning towards the KWA, but I'd like to hear some opinions.
