Me too, but the place I go to (tac city) makes everyone wear full masks, because of a bb-in-back-of-throat incident.
I bought myself a $80 pair of Revision DL goggles, and spent an extra $50~ for the Brassguard mask.
Definitely worth it, I have to say. Although wearing all this plus my headset and helmet is a bit uncomfortable, it's ~superior protection~.
i have my brassguard and some random glasses that amos gave to me for free, they're like worth $20 or something

A recon wrap doesn't look like it'd provide much for protection.
It doesn't. At all. Use a shemagh, they'll work fine and are plenty breathable.
It provides enough. Provided you're being shot at from more than 30 feet.
It's cqb, and under 350 fps. The min distance is 10 ft.
If you want full-out protection, get a Brassguard.
Otherwise, I'd get a shemagh. That recon is really just a thin piece of fabric.

I forgot to mention that I would give the balancalva a widened mouth hole. And at tac city, there very complainy about how protected your head is. That's their only problem though

Screw shemaghs, make your goggles fog like hell. Just get an iron face mask if you want face protection but still be able to use good goggles and aim down your sights. If you're going to Tac City you'll want one. I mean full auto at those distances, you're going to get shot in the face a lot.

At first with Evike, I ordered something that was supposedly in stock. I placed the order, suddenly it's on pre-order for fucking July. I ordered on June 15th or so, for my birthday on the 30th. I said fuck that, cancel the order. I did so and ordered the G&G MP5 christmas thing, which was in stock. Then, at like 9PM on the day before my birthday, I get my original order, which according to their website wasn't going to arrive until July.
A week ago I ordered some midcaps, they arrive without problems two days later. I love it how most airsoft retailers are in California, quick delivery.
PS I should mention they took mah moniez BEFORE they so much as shipped it out, then once we canceled the order they still kept the money, which came out to $175. Then the MP5 came out to $150, but that order never got through or something. Evike is really hit-or-miss.
Yeah. I actually think that the companies airsoftGI and evike are within driving distance.
I hate how at my local field you have to wear paintball masks. I mean I love my JT Proflex (I used to paintball a lot), but it's horrible for aiming.
