Allryatttttt! I may not need to spend a cent of my money on ALL of my gear! I just heard my parents talking about how they (lol) forgot to get me any presents last year, and they said that they'd pay for my whole loadout!
[QUOTE=krazipanda;25974904]You play at tac city?

And if you don't, are you saying that bcause of bad rep?

I've played there since 2005, when it was still Airsoft Playground. I know the owner and the field's head tech, most of the refs know me, and I've even lost a tooth there. Look, the rep is only bad because of the summer crowd and the "I'M SO OPERATOR IT HURTS" nuts - it's fun when you get a decent crowd of people, like anywhere from 6 to 20. But beyond that point, the field is too damn small to do anything without being lit up within 10'. It's overkill, even when they do full-field.
Maybe we would bump into each other by accident :D
What does your loadout look like?
[editline]10th November 2010[/editline]
And what gender are you
[editline]10th November 2010[/editline]
At the moment, till I get PROPER gear, I'm wearing a tye-dye hoodie and horseback riding gloves, other than that, rental gear.
It hurt when I got shot in the temple.
Usually have on a OE-tech plate carrier on, the Spec-ops one, with an OD belt and a red medic pouch as well as a blue/black shemagh. Switching to an OD CIRAS when I get back to LA though, and I think i'm the only person who rocks a Five-seveN at Tac-City.
Wait... Do you carry a shotgun ever?
Man, I'm having a tough time deciding on my next dedicated Primary. I want something good, reliable, powerful since I play almost exclusively field games.
I was looking at KWA but between the price tag, having to buy special mags and ammo (I have a shitton of .2, I don't really want to upgrade all my ammo to .25 if I can help it) and the lack of weapon variety I can't say I'm still as enthusiastic.
So, what else is there really? G&G, VFC and Echo 1 (Platinum series) What do you all think of the last two?
What do you mean special mags and ammo? You can shoot .2's through a KWA, .25s are just going to be more accurate, as they almost always are. And they're compatible with most mags...
How much money do you have?

That may be true, I was just reading some reviews and they make it sound like the shots got wild with .2's and that almost no mags except KWA mags will feed properly. According to them at least.

Aside from being ugly, I'm not looking for another Combat Machine. I'd like to keep the price of the gun under $400.

Yeah. Had a DEM56C before, using a TSD M1014 as a backup to my Raider M4.

I was looking for something with a longer barrel, possibly a full stock. Something for field games rather then CQB.

I think I've seen you before.
Are you kind of tall and a little heavy?
[editline]10th November 2010[/editline]
Sorry that I couldn't think of any other defining features besides those already mentioned.

5'6" isn't tall, and yeah, I'm a little heavy. I'm a southpaw if that helps.

Maybe the EBR version then?
Haha! I played with you on Wednesday, I think 3 weeks ago. I was in the white/tyedye hoodie looking really noob with a 100 fps rental shotgun
Uh, I'm in San Francisco for school, have been since August.
Guess that someone looks just like you then.
Oops

Anybody have any recomendations for regular full seal goggles? I am thinking about getting FlakJak goggles but i'm not sure.
[QUOTE=deathmog;25980483]Anybody have any recomendations for regular full seal goggles? I am thinking about getting FlakJak goggles but i'm not sure.[/QUOTE]
Flakjaks fog quite a bit unless its cold and your running around a lot. Those really popular Bolle goggles are nice, but cost a pretty penny. Anything by WileyX, Revision, or Oakley is bound to be good as well.
Flakjaks are good if you remove the stupid vent things in the top and bottom. I don't use mine anymore, but after I removed that they didn't really fog.
Are there any goggles that won't have a foam seal? My sweat absorbs into the one I use now, and it burns my eyes and stings my whole face like acid.
-snip- just checked ASGI and found that the goggles are way cheaper than they are on the company website
Bolle X500's are pretty good from what i heard (havent used mine that much) and theyre cheap as, prone to fogging though. I've got a set in OD and they fog every few minutes so id only advise them if you have a way to stop that.
Is [url]http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6708[/url] permanent? If not is there something that could be permanent?
Has anyone ever tried to reuse a Sound Flash case? Like to use duct tape and tightly tape it back together? It's basically just a small split on the side.

Actually, I'd imagine you can hot glue it back together, and then tape over the seal.

I'm probably going to get a set of Sound Flashes because they're so much cheaper then Tornado grenades (Which I hear mixed things about)
I watched a video, they fill with gas a few seconds before they burst, if you can keep it air tight for a few seconds it should function normally and even if it goes off at half blast, it's still pretty load in theory.
