I'm thinking Cold War Era Loadout. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_203&products_id=2329 or a CAR-15, but I don't know who makes one.
Classic army makes an XM177E1. [editline]10th November 2010[/editline] So basically a CAR-15.
Anybody have any recomendations for regular full seal goggles? I am thinking about getting FlakJak goggles but i'm not sure.
Try ESS goggles. Mine hardly ever fog, unless its a hot day and I'm wearing a plate carrier and standing still after a long run. Replaceable lens is also a great feature.
if i put http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=6708 on goggles, how long would they have anti-fog capabilities?
Borken link.
can you aim down the sights with a brassguard? My paintball mask is starting to piss me off.
Oh, also do Sound Flash grenades use an entire CO2 canister each use or?
Can anyone recommend a *decent* M16A1? I'm not sure on which version I should get, I've heard bad things about certain models etc etc.
Oh, also do Sound Flash grenades use an entire CO2 canister each use or?
Yep. They turn out to cost like 90 cents per use, when factoring in the CO2 cartridge and the cost of the burst shell.
Are there any goggles that won't have a foam seal? My sweat absorbs into the one I use now, and it burns my eyes and stings my whole face like acid.
I'd definitely recommend Revision's Desert Locusts. They're a bit expensive, but they can come with replacable lenses, and the foam things you can easily rip out. I wore mine for a straight five hours, and didn't fog at all. Plus, they're shotgun proof. :v:
can you aim down the sights with a brassguard? My paintball mask is starting to piss me off.
I can aim down my AK sights pretty well, since the mesh is more in line with your face then a paintball mask. It's way more low profile.
awesome, thanks! [editline]10th November 2010[/editline] where can i get 12 oz CO2 canisters dirt cheap?
walmart
How much are they apice?
1 doll hair i believe
The cheapest I could find were 2$ ea. That's 3 uses a can, so like 60 cents per pop. That's 120 db's for 60 cents. Sounds like a good deal :v: [editline]10th November 2010[/editline] And now I'm informed that it's 30 cents a pop. Veri happy nao. [editline]10th November 2010[/editline] What do that call them? When i search on their website with the terms " co2 canister " " 12 oz co2 " " 12 oz canister " nothing pops up.
What do that call them? When i search on their website with the terms " co2 canister " " 12 oz co2 " " 12 oz canister " nothing pops up.
12g CO2 cartridges. They usually run about 30-50 cents each if you buy bulk.
Thanks. No wonder nothing popped up anywhere [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] Could someone tell my what I need to add/remove to this cqb loadout? I know it does not have a vest, nor pants, because I don't know what I should wear so I do not look douche. Also, I can't find a tan version of the gun I chose anywhere. Do they exist? http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=5034 Sound generator (bang grenade) http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_202&products_id=2930 M4a1 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=27_236&products_id=4742 Battery & charger [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=60_112_276&products_id=5320 Extra mags [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3261 Desert locust goggles
No, there is no tan version. I've also heard that MAG midcaps are far superior to King Arms, but I don't know for sure.
do you mean magpull midcaps? if its magpul im not getting it. and what am i missing (besides a vest and pants) for this loadout?
Dont go with the Madbull sound grenade. You need to either buy a $70 12g CO2 adapter or a $30 paintball tank adapter and a CO2 bottle. Plus the fuzes are weird as hell and impossible to set for anything other than instant detonation. Go with the Thunder Bs, they are a million times better and more consistent. They are also quite a bit louder. For a uniform, just go to your local surplus store and buy some standard woodland camo. Its really cheap normally. [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] Also King arms mags have a terrible reputation. Go with MAG mids. (Not Magpul, MAG. They make airsoft midcaps) [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] And just get some cheap non-MOLLE vest or rig, like this: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_96&products_id=995
Why do you say that the fuse is messed? My friend has 1 and it's super easy to set? You Jude need an allen wrench. I'll definitely look into the diff mags, thanks for the advice. Do you really think that woodland capp is the best for indoor cqb? [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] And do you suggest any specific 180* protection vest that's cheap, or are they all crap?

[editline]11th November 2010[/editline] And do you suggest any specific 180* protection vest that's cheap, or are they all crap?
If your playing CQB it doesn't matter what you wear. What the hell is a 180* vest?
I was looking for something with a longer barrel, possibly a full stock. Something for field games rather then CQB.
This may be a good compromise for you: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_211&products_id=4392 Not saying this brand or anything, but suggesting the type of gun. One company sells it with short and long barrel, lost the link though. Edit: Just noticed you said dedicated. Damn, nevermind then, lol.
Actually, I'd imagine you can hot glue it back together, and then tape over the seal.
You may want to try Gorrila Glue, as it expands (should help to fill the gap without it pushing it farther apart), and then tape over it as mentioned. Just make sure you have a frakk ton of pressure when you let it sit to dry.
Is http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6708 permanent? If not is there something that could be permanent?
May or may not work (don't see why it wouldn't): http://www.onlinescuba.com/JAWS-Spit-Antifog-Spray-Scuba-Mask-Defogger-P9859.aspx I wouldn't suggest actually spitting in your goggles though, likely to cause some kind of bacterial infection. @Krazi: Did you say you were 13? If so, then much respect to you my friend; you seem quite mature. @Stupideye: Any chance I could get the full size of your avi? <3 that scene.
Is http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6708 permanent? If not is there something that could be permanent?
No, that's not permanent. Although, I got one with my pair of goggles and I haven't had them fog up at all yet. Just make sure you take the foam lining off the filters if you do get the Desert Locusts, those goggles were designed for combat in the middle east, so the filters would keep the sand and shit out, but it doesn't help with the fogging.
If your playing CQB it doesn't matter what you wear. What the hell is a 180* vest?
I think he means a 180 degree protective vest.
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2299 How good is this?
I think he means a 180 degree protective vest.
Would that be like, a chest rig then?
Why do you say that the fuse is messed? My friend has 1 and it's super easy to set? You Jude need an allen wrench.
Set the fuse. Wait 15 minutes. Fuze time hs changed due to temperature/gas expansion/a billion other environmental factors. It happens to all grenades with a friction fuse. The grenade could go from a 3 second fuze to 0 seconds, or even dud mode.
@Krazi: Did you say you were 13? If so, then much respect to you my friend; you seem quite mature.
i can act mature... but im still 13 at heart. but im not stupid, thank god.
