I don't know about you people, but I've heard bad things about mesh. Specifically that BB's can shatter against the mask and the plastic fragments can still get through. While this may not be a problem for a mouth guard, I'd never use mesh goggles.

They were made for M14 mags, soldiers stuffed cardboard in the bottom to better accommodate 20 round m16 mags. So yes, they will work great.
