Only problem with the Galil is that I need a new battery. The battery I have is a 9.6v 2000MAH nunchuck so it would fit the M14 and maybe the F2000 but not the Galil. But a 9.6v stick type should only be $25 or so.
Yeah the G&G M14 is awesome, I'm pretty sure as Sweetie said, that it can use CA mags. I'm not sure though.
Anyone know where I can get a bunch of reference pictures for US Marines in Woodland MARPAT? I have no problem finding pictures of Marines in Desert MARPAT but that's not the way I'm going.

If you looked through the militaryphotos.net forums I'm sure you could find some. That forum is a great resource for reference pictures for airsoft.

Looks aside, which would be the best?[/QUOTE]
If you're referring to the G4-A3 DMR, I'd go with that.
I just wanted to confirm that I'm right. The US Army has two different boots. Desert and Jungle Boots. Both in Tan and in this style:

Desert boots have vents inside them and nylon that allows air to pass through (and water unfortunately), so they're not water proof. Jungle boots are from what I can gather.

Watch out, though. Some of the jungle boots have drain holes (that don't work right) in the side, so they fill up with water anyway. Terrible design decision, if you ask me.

Dirt cheap, should I buy it?
Better pictures are on the website, not just that specific item, they have it in different colors too.
The price is right. What other colors aside brown and OD?

I believe they have it in woodland, tan, multicam, MARPAT, black and ACU.

Anybody have any ideas on how I can prevent fogging in a nighttime situation, even after I applied defog?
I just bought De-Fog wipes myself and if that doesn't work, I'm bringing shaving cream. Not sure what else you CAN do.

I was thinking of rigging a PC fan to the top of my goggles and bringing my Moondog Defog

That really comes down to a matter of preference as to what type of guns you like. I'd personally go for the G36C because M4s are very generic.

But if we keep saying "Buy a G36c", then those themselves will become just as generic as an M4. Ta da.

Then buy a G36K or G36 Full size. Problem solved.

Even so, the commonality of those guns will rise. Not to say every weapon won't someday, but if we suggest the same gun over and over again, it'll happen at a faster rate.
Trust me, it will never be as common as an AR or AK, no matter how much you push it.
That's true, but there are other variables that can affect an items commonality.
Let's use a horribly placed example. Look how big Twilight got. Brand a G36c with Twilight markings, and you would have an instant hit among it's fan base.
Yeah, that example doesn't work to well. It's two entirely different fan bases.
A similar example. Hello Kitty M4 at Evike. I don't see a bunch of those fans switching to airsoft with pink M4s.
The only possible appeal to that, would be to the fan base of female airsofters, which we more than likely scared away with that "Post pictures of airsoft girls" thread.
And even then, it's still an M4.
Anyone know what the Army's current standard issue model of boot is? I bought some Bellevilles in my size, yet they're extremely big on me. I suppose Belleville boots just run larger.
I thought it was a boot made by Rocky, that had Gore-Tex in it.
[editline]14th November 2010[/editline]
Actually, it's Altama, Bates, Belleville Shoe, McRae, Rocky, Warson Brands/Converse and Wellco.
the g36 has built in rails, a catch, and blowback. whats good/bad about it? the m4 is generic, but im not sure which one shoots faster. and can the g36 handle a lipo? it says 2gx gearbox, but im not sure if thats all you need for LIPo. is it?
The KWA G36C does not have blowback. It should be able to handle a lipo no problem. I've used lipos in all of my guns, JG's included and they work just fine. Just don't hold the trigger all day. The main advantage of lipo is the faster trigger response. If you want high ROF, work on the internals.
