That's the one. I imagine a Lifchika vest would be hard or impossible to find (Lifchik is Russian for bra, Lifchika is a type of vest) seeing as most of them were apparently handmade by the soldier himself.

Generally the deal is, anything [I]but[/I] a crossdraw.
What exactly is bad about a crossdraw? It looks like it has lots of pouches, I dunno about an admin pouch....keep in mind the only airsoft gear I've ever touched was a spring wal-mart pistol, so excuse my ignorance.
The general opinion everywhere thinks it's ugly. It's a big, white hot brand that says "I'M NEW TO AIRSOFT"
Also, it's a bit on the "tacticlol" side whereas you're going more for rugged Russian. They're polar opposites.
Oh...perhaps you could reccomend me some good vests? I'm lost. :v:
I was thinking along the lines of an actual vest? Like the one I posted, but since crossdraw is frowned upon...not crossdraw? Seems like a good alternative to MOLLE, and if anyone frowns at the crossdraw I'll just say "WELL HEY I SCAVENGED IT FROM A RUSSIAN I SHOT WITH MY HAND IN THE ZONE, MY OLD VEST GOT RIPPED UP BY BLOODSUCKERS IN HAND TO HAND COMBAT!"

A full vest doesn't really say "STALKER". If you really want a STALKER-ish loadout, you can't go wrong with soviet chest rigs.
I'm probably going to get an M23 Pioneer in OD after I order my Kamysh.
I can't really think of any russian vests off the top of my head.. but i DO know that getting a crossdraw would be a bad thing to do in this situation. especially a black one

I kinda want a SMERSH rig as well, but that seems really expensive.
I just like having lots of stuff to put little items in, but yeah I can see how a vest wouldn't really fit the mood. A vest is still good for regular airsoft I assume, which I would probably be doing a majority of the time with my friends as I dunno how to find any STALKER events...

No no no no no. Do not buy that vest. If you want a good one that matches the STALKER style get the chicom chest rig, it's $12. It doesn't have much space but you can make up for that in the rucksack or other pouches/pockets.

What everyone else has said is your best option. Get a chicom, or the pioneer. Don't waste your time on ASGI.
Again, if you actually want to go STALKER-themed, get a soviet/russian chest rig. Don't buy an OE TECH or Crossdraw, or anything like that.

You could do a thigh holster for the pistol.
If you really need a pistol, i suggest a belt mounted holster, it's common to find surplus makarov holsters in russia, and seeing as most loners in STALKER have makarovs it would make sense that they would use those as holsters.

anything in this style should work nicely, make sure that the holster you buy fits the pistol you have!
For the holster, I'd say fuck the STALKER theme, as leather holsters wouldn't necessarily be the best. Get a SERPA, like Ender said, you don't want to risk losing your sidearm or losing mags to a shitty holster.

To be completely honest, I cant really find any holster for the USP that would fit the STALKER loadout, however a WWII style 1911 holster might work if you decide on a 1911
