No, what happened was a repeat of the MS e3 conference where a bunch of people either misinterpreted or took the supposed "rape joke" too seriously.
I was not saying they aren't being a cohesive force or that they aren't making enough videos, I was saying that they should just release Anna already because they are just hyping it up, and I need my fix man. I am like a crackhead but with Spike and Barley.
Of course here come the posts about "oh you cannot dictate what they do" or "you cannot order them around, remember what happened last time?". Once again, it is a fucking joke. I hate it when people hold a grudge against you and then you have to blacklist a thread for 3 days before anyone will even take you seriously anymore.
This is the exact reason I left Facepunch. If you make one minor fuck up, one minor slip, and you say or voice something unpopular, even when directly asked, you get ganged up on almost immediately and are not given a chance to voice your own opinion. I feel like someone living in some dystopian world where everything is fine and dandy but the minute you make one wrong move or do something out of place, everybody takes out a nightstick and beats you. You become so conformed to it you do it to others when they slip up.
If I try to respond, I get attacked and start a big flame war. If I do not respond, I continue to get attacked and have no legitimacy in a thread for several days. I made a shitpost. So what, everyone does. Why does it always warrant a response from every fucker on FP?
I mean, rate people dumb or disagree, fine, that is why the ratings are there, but you should actively try to [I]avoid[/I] these things.
Of course, I am just adding fuel to fire by this point, whether or not it is my fault is objective but even I would say yes, it is, because I habitually respond to everybody in some effect to maintain dignity. So yeah, I guess I will just leave and let the shitstorm take its toll, because that is all people want here apparently.
