I hope SnB check out that Paranormal game on steam, it's in early access but the game still looks pretty fucking cool already.
I just want them to play it because the scares are completely dynamic like that Garrysmod map, just more professionally done and actually scary.
Outlast just reminded me of it because they kind of share the whole camera view thing.

I know that Spud (Same guy who gave Anna to Spike) gave both me and Spike Paranormal, whether he'll put it up for SnBP or if it'll be something he'll put on his channel I don't know.

Paranormal might seem like a good dynamic horror game but basically it's the same every time. Different events are programmed to happen on certain nights at certain locations; the only thing different is where you walk (which decides what you see that night) but your battery life is so long you can explore the entire house each night. If you play it once you've basically seen everything there is to see. I also wish there were more subtle scares in it. On the first night there's a lot of loud and soft noises outside of your vision that really sets a mood of anxiety but a few nights later there's posing mannequins having a flaming crucifixion in your living room or something.

If you're on about the gmod videos, the quality is due to the source engine, no idea how it works (or doesn't), but it usually lessens the quality of microphones.

I remember there being an update to the sound quality for source mic output several years ago. It's hard to remember that it was actually way more awful.
