I can't believe he didn't notice the person standing there at 5:25.
It was probably darker in game. I imagine they brighten it before uploading.

Sony Vegas Pro by itself usually brightens up the video slightly, I've had the exact same thing happen where I couldn't see it due to my monitors contrast, but after rendering I was able to see a face.
Shits creepy.
Someone should send this to Shadow

Honestly his reaction in the end would be the same if he had seen it. If you want a different effect it'll have to be over mic in a game.
Like Gmod, using PlayX to play clown videos...or making an invisible NPC that follows players around and yells "It" quotes...not that that's ever happened.
Ever.
...PS. He looked at it anyways.

"Ring around the rosie, pockets full of SHIT"
That one's going in the book of excellent quotations.

Have a nice night, me.
We should get Barley playing a couple parts soon, I think Spike's getting the bum deal here.

Spikes doing Paranormal and Outlast, I get the next two games. I'd like to switch up on Outlast, but he's already mostly through it. Besides, I don't even own it.
Plus, it's a bum deal for both of us when people start get pissy when we switch up parts.

It's kind of hard to catch up on the curve of a game if you switch around halfway though anyway. It'll just lead to frustration.
Did I hear something about Cry of Fear?

Have fun in Cry of Fear. Try not to cry, from the fear.
...I'll stop now.

From what I've seen and heard of Cry of Fear, it's more just unplesant than actually scary.

I've only played a little bit of the singleplayer and co-op, but it is pretty unsettling.
I should finish Cry of Fear. I just kind of stopped playing it after I got the shotgun for no reason in particular.
Cry of Fear wasn't that great. It was unbalanced to high hell. The artificial difficulty didn't add to any suspense the game had. The matter that they did all of what they did on that old of an engine is impressive, but they should have put their resources elsewhere.
It's not even that scary, to be honest.
Just wanted to say that I made a playlist of all the Sass-Patrol related videos I got so people don't have to search through all the other videos to find them.

Also working on another smaller video with another little (unfinished as far as I believe) horror map me and Spike went through.

It was only unbalanced in Multiplayer, in which all enemies were scaled to take damage from four players. Single player mode, it was easy to break in terms of Glock ammo if you aimed and could snipe the occasional bighead enemies that shot at you, which dropped full mags on death if you got the instakill headshots. Don't be trigger happy, keep a calm head and you'll be fine.
If you aren't a jumpy fuck (like me) and can handle yourself you'll actually max out on syringes. That's always fun.

didn't RuMpel say that the reason they were using GoldSrc rather than actual Source was because they didn't understand Source, and the game would be super buggy and poorly-done if they didn't use Gold instead?
then the game actually comes out and it's got like a billion gamebreaking bugs on release and sequence breaking out the wazoo lmao

I wonder how many more games would have gotten released in the alternative universe of instantaneous bug testing.

yeah but it's pretty ridiculous when Psyskallar were apparently so familiar with GoldSrc that using Source wasn't practical, but then the game itself A) doesn't really use their supposed coding genius to great effect, and B) when it tries to, it probably fucks up in some way and forces you to replay the game until you get to the same point and hope it doesn't fuck up again.
i mean, i'm not asking for much here, but when it's apparently more practical for them to jury-rig a completely obsolete engine up to "modern" standards than it is to just learn how to use a modern engine, i'm going to expect some good coding on their behalf.

edit - though of course it's better when Spike makes it :)
