Irish version. Also its criminal the Ukrainian advert hasn't been posted yet.
i think this should be the irish army theme song
Well I don't know about the air force. Operating a UAV in a base thousands of miles away from the front seems like a desk job.
The american guy sounds like the saints leader from Saints Row
It sounds like the voice actor for Sgt. Foley. Is it? He's been in quite a few military films.

Yes they do use cheap tactics to recruit into the military. But, they need more people in the army, etc to meet their quota bla bla bla. So where's the best place in today's society? Oh, let's go to a High School where most students are bound to not go to college, or drop out and pick them up. Welcome to Society, it's fucked up.
They show that you should be proud to serve your country. Sure they flash some shit that you'll never get to even see, but most people join because they want to. Not because some commercial showed them.
Just gonna quote this since he's right.

I've thought about joining the Marines when I was younger and it had nothing to do with these commercials.

Drafts are the cheapest way to recruit people into the military, they don't even have to try.
SEMEN SHIP SEMEN SHIP I lol'd
Welcome to the Real marines. Also, I dont think they are "cheap" i just dont like HOW they do it
You know some people actually join the military out of choice and not by some advertisement on the television or lack of higher education, but thats society and its fucked up, right?
Derp, yes I know that but I'm talking about one of their recruitment tactics.
its not really fucked up, people are just built differently for different things in life. you cant expect EVERYONE to follow the same quota of education and not get pissed about it (especially when you dont give a fuck)
I'm sorry you don't like learning.
Or, you know, they feel like defending their country instead of sitting in some physics class learning why apples fall.
Derp, or you have the lazy people who flunk, fail out, and join the army too. Did anyone miss the point where I was generalizing one of their recruitment methods? [sp] Also, cutthedefensebudget. [/sp]
I wouldn't say so but I've been wanting to enlist into the military ever since I was younger. The Army to be specific. Not because I'm a war junkie or anything but I feel like if I'm gonna do at least one good thing for my country and for my self-worth I should do this and set an example of not an asshole soldier you see on youtube throwing puppies off a cliff or shit like that
Or, you know, they feel like defending their country instead of sitting in some physics class learning why apples fall.
Yeah fuck book learnin let's kick some ass!
I hate how they tried to recruit me in the marines at school, you let them know anything and next thing you know they're at your house giving you tests
Just take the pens they give and run away!
I'm sorry but knowing the radius of a trapezoid is not going to improve my life. It's pretty damn worthless to me, and I'm more interested in shit that I find value in. (i.e. protecting you people from dying because you think the world is going to unite peacefully)

yeah pretty much
Yeah fuck book learnin let's kick some ass!
I'd rather be in that physics class mind you, but I can definitely see why some people wouldn't.

I've always been highly fascinated by all things military and I'm seriously considering joining after high school, or possibly going to a college with an ROTC program and get commissioned as an officer in the Marine Corps or Army. Why? It's something I've always wanted to do. Get away from home, explore. I love exploration. Meet new people. Just experience a new side of life. Improve myself and my personal qualities.
Derp, or you have the lazy people who flunk, fail out, and join the army too.
The military doesn't accept drop-outs. Just thought I would throw that out there.
Pretty sure there is more to it than seeing new places and meeting new people.
I know, I was simply listing a few reasons. I know my reasons though, in my heart. I still have time to contemplate my decision though, no rush. I've spoken to many active duty Marines and Soldiers, done a lot of research. I'm currently in the Army JROTC program. My grandfather was 101st Airborne Infantry in World War 2, my uncle served in Vietnam in 25th ID, so I come from a bit of military background I guess.

It's a nice thought but it will not happen.
Uh, the marine ad shows you going through muck, rain, and vomiting on yourself. YEAH I WANNA DO THAT WOO
Why is it so hard for people to realize nothing like that is not going to happen? You won't get all Countries to give up war. People need to realize this is the 21st century and realize who we are, and that we're a tiny spec in our universe and we need to preserve life, not destroy it.
