Same director as one of my favourite comedies, Hot Rod, and one of the writers of Superbad; this looks promising.

If I see this it will only be because of Richard Ayoade.
He's one of the main characters yet they don't mention him anywhere. Sad but understandable. He's not very well known outside the UK.
Oh, and this is rated R so that's a plus.

I think it would be enough with them simply being a neighborhood watch without anyone planning to destroy earth. Would have been more promising in my opinion, but it still looks like it will be great.

Sucks he's only in as an actor though.
Not a fan of the cast to be honest.
Jesus Christ fuck off Jonah Hill, you were funny in Superbad and now you're thin and overused and go away.
I dunno, could be good with Vaughn and Stiller, definitely up my brother's alley.

Did anyone else think of Candlejack from that sign?
Looks pretty sub-par, honestly.
Will see because of Richard Ayoade. Hopefully he's playing a character like himself and that after this, we'll being seeing more of him.
Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill?
No thanks.
This was filmed in my old neighborhood
Looks like a funny concept but we will see what the writing is like.
The problem is, Ben Stiller isn't funny.
Neither is Vince Vaughn.
Requesting gif of Richard taking off his glasses.
I think it has potential, but there wasn't enough in the trailer to condemn or praise it.
haha someone throws eggs at them!!!
hilarious!

Actors don't have to be, it's the script that matters.

Regardless, most often times movies he's in aren't funny.

And this looks like one of them.
It's called The Watch now apparently
Red band Trailer:

A terrible terrible trailer, and Ayoade says barely anything.
Yeah that trailer killed any interest I might've had.
[editline]5th May 2012[/editline]
Although my interest was barely any to begin with.
Once I heard Bangarang I cried inside.
I count on Richard Ayoade to make this movie good
Future rental for sure.
They renamed it 'The Watch' because of the negatiove impact the whole Trayvon Martin case had on the term 'Neighborhood Watch'.
Which is fucking retarded.
But the trailer doesn't look so bad, solid rental I reckon.
I didn't think the trailer was that bad. Still light years ahead of Ted.
I'm not sure what to think.
Although I do like R Lee Ermey.
I advise caution. The last time I really enjoyed a Ben Stiller film was Tropic Thunder, and that was mostly because of the rest of the cast instead of him.
First trailer made it look like a family film, like a crap commedy you take kids to, the second trailler looked better. I will probably see it, just for Richard Ayoade, the man is amusing
