Oh so you're one of those abnormal people who actually donate blood to the red cross, me too!
If I remember right, I don't really have a rare blood type, but I know my Mom's is really rare and she tries to donate whenever she possibly can. I forget how much she has donated.. I just know it's a lot. I'm curious now. Gonna ask her tomorrow about it.
Not this one.
I'm gonna watch all the hair come off in July!
I'll be taking a ton of pictures of Relay and most especially the haircut. It's going to be great. Been looking forward to this for months now.

O- here, one of the few reasons I bother to donate.
OH JESUS FUCKING CHRIST THAT'S A MASSTIVE TITLE ODHSDKFSDKJFSDKFJoh god.
O- here, one of the few reasons I bother to donate.
O+ here. Like I said, really common blood type but there's always use for it and it's still a good thing to do.
Oh man, all that hair coming off.
It's gonna feel weird man.
That's a lot of money for the amount of hair you have, but for a good cause man <3

Oh hell yeah. It's exciting, though.
I've been going to Relay for Life, donated lots of money and had lots of fun. Who doesn't want drinks for $1 and all the money goes to cancer research?
Oh hell yeah. It's exciting, though.
trying to imagine you without your hair =/
I wouldn't do it.
Me either. I like my long hair.
2 weeks from today!
Shaving your head is the best thing ever, I grew my hair for like 3 years and then just one day decided to get a buzzcut. Everyone at school was just like o.O
The terrible replies in this thread are really disappointing.
Very. I'm proud of you benji. I've been doing my communities relay for the past 7 years. It really is a great experience. For everyone else: if there's a relay near you, do it. You'll have an amazing night.
I'm all for raising money for good causes and all that, but shaving your hair off to show compassion for people who've lost their hair through chemotherapy makes as much sense as gouging your eyes out to show compassion for the blind.
Cut off half of your hair after 2 years, donate it to have wigs made for those same people, repeat. It's what I'm doing and have been doing for a whiles now.
My dad died of cancer

But it's not like "look i'm shaving my head!", they're using the hair to make wigs. No one said he was doing it to show compassion.
OP is one of those rare people that is a genuinely good person.
As well as getting money for charity you won't have to worry about brushing your hair and showers will take half as long. Win win.
Uhh why the hell should I shave my head? I'll just donate the money directly (which will help more).
And no, I don't have long hair down to my feet and no, I don't go weeks without washing it, since that seems to be the stereotype of those that don't want to get a haircut (my hair is 4 inches long at most, I don't see any reason to cut it).
I already got my head shaved. But not for this.
This is a ridiculous thing for people to donate for. You look silly in long hair anyway all this can do is improve your looks unless you have a misshapen dented head.
Lololol this brings back memories of an announcement one day at school when our principal was talking about this:
"The relay for life is a free program that you go to to represent the cancer association, and you- GOD FUCKING DAMNIT WOULD YOU GET THE HELL OUT OF MY OFFICE- anyway, it represents the cancer association, etc."
I'd like to give a big thanks to Master117 who donated $15 to my cause via Pay Pal.
Less than 2 weeks now, I'm getting pretty excited!
Cancer research is fucking bullshit. There's already been cures, they just can't turn a profit. You think that if you get paid to research this, you really wanna find a cure?
All the donations go to paying for their salary and their lunch runs. MAYBE 5% of what they pull in goes towards actual research.
The pics are going to be good for Arto
The terrible replies in this thread are really disappointing.
Yes, they are.
Glad to see you're on board with this, I'd be happy to donate a small amount.
im might do it but i dont think people would pay my to shave my hair off.
So... do you want a fucking award? We don't need to know this.
I mean honestly, it's a good deed, but you don't need to milk it by making a thread to impress us or something.
People are such selfish fucks. If they think the charity is worth donating to why do they need to see someone shave their head to persuade them to give money to it.
Not blaming you btw.
