a 250 word essay? uhhh
Essay doesn't instantly mean 500+ words, you know.
write about the surface tension of water
I'm pretty sure your friends gave you better answers than Facepunch will.
Fuck, OP your writing is shit.
edit: I just actually read what you wrote. I guaranfuckingtee you won't get into that college. You better learn how to suck some dick if you want to prove me wrong.
I think you could write about something far more interesting than facepunch.
Apparently you have your heart set on it, so do what you want to.

Does it have to be exactly 250 words, or can it exceed that amount?
This is probably one of the worst essays I've read in a long time.
You're not allowed to say brainstorm any more. It's offensive or scary or some shit :downs:

Some governmental organisations (The Welsh Development Agency and the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment in Belfast) have reached the conclusion that the term 'brainstorming' is offensive to people with epilepsy and have suggested the alternative "thought-showers". However, research by the National Society for Epilepsy found of those affected by epilepsy questioned, 93% considered the term inoffensive. A specific comment states that changes need not be made since that could promote an undesirable image of epileptics being easily offended.

I don't know whether to laugh or to point out that, wynne, you messed up your insult. sad, sad, sad.
Remember last time there was a thread involving a person called Wynne on Facebook?
This is my essay- i think its 250 words. If anyone wants to edit, go ahead:
** * *On the Internet, there are many things that can harm us. Whether it is social networking sites, pornography, or cyber bullying, they all have a negative impact on our lives. However, there is one positive thing that came out of my time with the Internet- a popular forum called Facepunch.
** *Before I knew about the site, i was a depressed mess. My grades were low, I was having problems at home, and i didnt have many relaible friends. However, when a friend of mine introduced me to the site, I was overfilled with laughter and began to enjoy life again. My depression became much better over the span of just two weeks, and I liked it so much i got an account and began to post myself.
** *On this site, it talks about current events in the world, philosophical discussions, and even different lifestyles. People on the site have a great sense of humor, yet are very fluent in their arguments. Because of this, my writing skills increased, my humor was better received (Allowing me more chances to have friends), and it made me aware of undiscussed problems in the world.*
** *If it wasn't for this site, my life wouldn't be nearly as good as it is today. I now have a girlfriend, my grade in Honors English went up to a B, and i feel like a more social person. There may be a lot of guilty pleasures on the Internet, but Facepunch surely isnt one of them.
The person reading your essay is deciding whether or not to admit you, not Facepunch, to their college. In other words, don't write your essay about an internet forum, because they don't care.

Okay, I'll resist being cynical.
But that's incredibly cute. Though the essay should be about you, not about an online Forum.
I doubt my 8th grade English teacher would accept that.
Um, isn't there usually a question involved with applying to colleges?
I don't know how you guys wrote your college essay but when I was writing mine I didn't want it to llok like a biography:sick:. I just wrote about one particular and outstanding moment in my life and how it affected mine and other people lives (my university didn't give any specific guidelines like why you want to attend our college and why I chose management as my major, what I was asked to do it to show what kind of personality I possess). Also, at customwritingcompany.com I came across one nice topic on what kind of person you want to become and how you are going to do it.
