"terrifying" isn't the emotion I felt during the last 10 minutes.
That's because 'terrifying' isn't an emotion.
I don't understand what's so great about this movie. I found it incredibly slow and boring.
This. I rented it from netflix and I thought it was alright. It really didn't blow me away like I though it would.
I have to contradict you all. This film is a masterpeice of cinema. Bladerunner is the classic, awesome 80's film. Based on a Philip K Dick novel it truly explores the ideas of androids and a dystopic future for all.
Dude, I totally agree with you. In the world of movies, this is gospel. It's a sin not to love this.
And to reask the question, do androids dream of electric sheep? What do they dream about?
I would say that the plot can be slow at times, but that is more than overshadowed by the incredible world that Ridley Scott created, which is just a visual masterpiece. Plus it has some good acting, an awesome soundtrack and some neat little questions that went unanswered. Its the sort of film I'd love to discuss with other people if I could anyone around me who actually likes it.
I watched half of it, it was incredibly slow to be honest, I didn't get much either.
yeah yeah rate me boxes for not liking a movie you like
The name of the novel is the greatest name of anything. Ever.
Which one is better? There have been several releases and I have come down to buying either the Director's Cut or The Final Cut. Which one is better?
I say Theatrical, but that's only because that's the one I saw, and I thought it was great.

I'm sorry but that title belongs to Citizen Kane.

The Final Cut was put together by Ridley Scott himself back in 2007 to accurately reflect how he wanted to film to play out. It's interesting to read about how he was screwed over with the editing and release of both the theatrical and Directors Cut versions.
Your name is Dr. Strangelove, if you cannot stand the slow pace of this movie, how could you have stood Dr. Strangelove?
Dr.Strangelove is like "2 Fast 2 Furious: Same Model, New Parts" compared to this film.
i TRIED to watch it. Got bored immediately and switched off near the end.
You guys must have ADHD or something.

I'm sorry but it takes more than pretty visuals for me to like a movie.

Wow I'm sorry I'll never dislike a film again.
I was disappointed by this film when I first seen it, I watched it again 5 years later and loved it, I dunno I guess at the time I was a jittery little shit who watched too much action films. It is a slow film but it is dripping with atmosphere and detail. I guess people have an image of an action packed sci-fi film by looking at the cover and trailers, I know I had at the time. The film has some really stunning images, even today it still impresses me, I have the city scape image as my dual screen wallpaper.
One of my favorite movies, has one of the best atmospheres in a movie.
good movie. i like it. but it requires some THOUGHT PROCESS, all you two second attention span people.
